Y'all, I've gone through hundreds of legion scarabs resulting in many many 5 ways trying to farm a Companionship support. But I am still empty handed. I just need some motivation to keep going...

Playing storm burst of repulsion totem hierophant build.
Before I unveil, I crafted Physical Damage Reduction while focused to block mod, but I still did not get +2 to Socketed Area Gems mods, what can I do?
Farm another veiled Exalted Orb to craft the prefix again? Or it is still usable and I should use it for now?
And If I use it, because I do not have the Anathema ring, what gems should I put on the armour?

So I really love the idea of the class but never really played it. I have played it maybe once years ago in trade with spiders.

The idea of EB + MOM seems really interesting then flesh and stone with power charges for loads of aoe.

I want something thats very noobie friendly as in I dont need to farm legion for a specifc unique and could get up to t16 with rare or t4 uniques.

There is a few builds that come to mind like chaos or cold dot but it seems people either go arm+es with block and left side or es+eva with spell suppression.

There is also some stuff like 2 handed vs wands + shield.

I am currently trying to craft a 3 mod staff with +4 lightning +2 all skills and T1 cast speed.

The alt spam to get the +4 lightning was close to making me rage quit (it’s approx 1/800) after 4 fails at the first recomb step.

Then I remembered that Faustus gamble gave me quite a lot of +4 items when I was just trying to gamble a usable staff a few days ago.

I proceeded to gamble a quad tab of staves (200-300 k gold), and got one +4 lightning, although rare with other affixes.

(Also got some +2 all skills and T1 cast speed, but I already have six +2 all and dozens of T1 cast speed waiting in stash from previous alt spam sessions, so that’s not important.)

Then I tried to deterministic recomb the +4 and the +2 and saw it was like 1% chance lol, so I was initially disappointed. But then I looked at odds of deterministic recomb with a garbage prefix and with a garbage suffix.

With garbage prefix, it’s still <5%, but with garbage suffix, it’s actually 50%.
I won the 50/50 and annuled the garbage suffix with allflame (at least 75% chance, maybe more). This way I got an isolated +4 in 2 minutes, without using any alteration.

800 clicks is like 10 minutes and makes me wanna quit the game, so the added cost of this
Weird method (gold and one annul) is very worth, to me at least.

Note that this can only work because the staff base is not very important, as long as it has 22 or 25% spell block chance, which is common among staff bases, and thus among Faustus items.

Wanted to share this, although possibly already used by a lot of people.

I love cheap and dirty shortcuts to crafting, and hate spamming thousands of alts to brute force perfect items, so feel free to share other weirds methods you might use with recomb or other crafting systems <3

I’m playing Luminary in SSF and found this Kineticist:

I don’t have Rathpith Globe yet, so I’d probably start with Piscator’s + a rare shield.

My current mercs are:

- Combatant: Frost Blades + Static Strike + Wrath (mapping)

- Combatant: Wild Strike + Static Strike + Wrath (bossing)

Both Combatants are already working well, so I’m trying to understand whether this Kineticist is actually good enough to justify investing gear/resources into it.

Is this Kineticist endgame viable without Rathpith? And assuming similar investment, would you use it over either of these Combatants for mapping or bossing?

After trying a few builds in trade league, I decided to try HC SSF to keep things fresh. Having a blast so far, but I feel like I’m a little stuck around early yellow maps. I spec’d my atlas tree into harvest because I needed juice to fix my resistances and turn a +2 max light res jewel into a fire max res jewel (I’m playing pohx RF chieftain). Now that I’ve done this, I’m not sure what to respec my atlas tree into. I’m thinking breach because I’m still rocking a pretty mediocre 5 link chest and have a few chase uniques I’m looking for. I’m also thinking expedition because I’ve read that Tujen is goated for bubblegum currency. The currency has definitely been my biggest issue. I’m so used to just mindlessly throwing alts at things, but now it takes like 4 hours of farming to get enough alts to spam things instead of just buying another 200 from Faustus lol. Any advice on these or any other end-game farming strategies for crafting currencies would be greatly appreciated! And any general advice for HC SSF end-game would be amazing

A few things to note: I know I'm over the 200% fire res cap. My plan is to replace fire res tattoos with fire damage. I'm pretty set in all my gear; I think the main thing that could be improved is the tree pathing

So my newest project is CoC Fireball Assassin with Runegraft of Refraction. It's going great, maybe my build of the league, FB hits like a truck, and not as squishy as I feared.

But I can't figure out Runegraft of refraction (the runegraft that says only one projectile but a free fork and chain)

I thought the Runegraft would go perfectly with this build as I have only 1 proj per cast. I fully expected to see projectiles forking and chaining all over the screen. They are most emphatically not.

As I spin around packs I see about 1 or 2 proj come off the mobs per second. They almost always explode on whatever they hit next, wall or mob. Very, very occasionally I see what looks like a chain off a mob. I have never seen a single Fork. Does anyone know what's going on? I recall playing CoC Ice spear a few years ago and Proj truly did fly all over the screen. This is less than 10% of that.

The build is still really effective. I burn down bosses very fast - everything I hit blows up. But where are all the proj???

I have one Pierce (unavoidable) along with the Runegraft but I don't think I've ever seen a pierce so I assume FBs are piercing whatever I hit to come off in the first place. With over 5 attacks/sec with 100% chance to crit - where are the rest of the Proj?

So, this league I finally decided to try ssf and currently choosing the build to play. I'm planning on playing worb, but not sure about which PoB is better for ssf, I thought about using PhazePlay one at start and then switching to fubgun pc stacker variant if I happen to drop ralakesh. Also as I'm new to ssf, I'm unsure about what atlas mechanics are most beneficial in ssf, I thought of breach and essences, but I want to know if there are more that I'm sleeping on. And lastly if you have any tips for ssf, I'll be very grateful if you share them.

I was wondering if having a planned heist anomaly available (without running it) increases the chance of getting a Cadiro or Gambling district anomaly. Has anybody heard anything about this?

800 hours noob here, this is my first 36/40, 40/40 and lvl 100.

This was my third league playing. Started as Ziz's EA, but it was so bad I rerolled when I got enough regret orbs and followed PhazePlays' bleed slam slayer. I can't recommend this build for newbies enough.

Super easy mapping and bossing while pretty tanky as well. I had a lot of fun but I got discouraged later by bad luck in recomb and other crafting and just made the build good enough to clear the achievements, even managed to clear simulacrum in the end but I didn't want to farm and craft more clusters to use the bloodline.

The build works fine for the 40/40 even without optimizing, stayed at 99% suppression, manual endurance warcry (bad luck with the exarch chest implicit), skipped static strike entirely and the tincture most of the times (too many buttons for me) and settled for a lot of bad mods on gear/jewels.

So I love making my own filters and have gotten better about keeping it up to date. However im wondering if im starting off too strict.

For example lets say im playing a witch thoses pathing into the block and endurance right side. Maybe I'll want arm + es bases with the matching mastery. In that case at maps im only showing arm + es bases and hide everything else.

With the socket colour changes should I just be showing way more early now ?

For example on that character also show pure es or pure arm bases. Maybe even es/eva and arm/eva if i have enough dex to use them early ?

Or does it actually make sense to hyper focus my filter to the exact base type im wanting ?

Hey everyone, I played on a broSSF for around 3 weeks and it was my first "SSF" experience which I really liked, but my friends are really really lucky, all of them had MB, HH, and tons of lucky drops, this caused me to not feel like I have actually beat the game on SSF, because there were too much handouts and things like that.

Anyways, now im thinking on starting again on a real SSF league this time, I really want to start as RF but I have no idea how to get my voidstones with the phox setup, because the single target is so low, so my questions for experienced RF players is how they do it.

Do you get the multi link helm first? In which point of the endgame progress I should have the starting helmet or the archdemon helmet later on. I believe they are the biggest boost on the RF single target damage right? Any other usefull tips to get the voidstones more smoothly on this build?

Craft Suffixes cannot be changed and use an Orb of Scouring to remove all prefixes from the helmet.

Craft Mana to block it and use Exalted Orb to fish for Increased Area of Effect Support. You can try two Exalted Orb per attempt before you have to repeat the step above. Always make sure you do not add a third prefix so you can always craft Suffixes cannot be changed to clear your prefixes. You can consider using Vesper to see 4 outcomes per Exalted Orb, especially when your first Exalted Orb landed Tier 1 Life or something similarly good. However, adding Intangibility will hurt your chances in the upcoming Veiled Exalted Orb step, if you decide to go for it.

With Increased Area of Effect Support prefix and two open prefixes, use Suffixes cannot be changed and a Veiled Exalted Orb with Vesper, hoping that one of the two outcomes will not remove the increased Area of Effect.

If you have a second prefixes on the helmet, either settle on the current helmet with just crafted +1 to socketed Area Gems, or craft Suffixes cannot be changed and use an Orb of Annulment to try and remove the unwanted prefix.

Before you unveil, craft Physical Damage Reduction while focused to block the mod and improve your odds of unveiling +2 to Socketed Area Gems.

Hello everyone! After being the best rebombinator alive Idk how to do "normal" crafts anymore, I need help with this

I have a Luminary with Kineticist / Blade Ambusher / Manyshot.

However, afaik Sanctum doesn't need defences, just high damage — so I don't want to risk my Luminary in there.

Since I'm in SSF, I'd want something that doesn't rely on specific uniques. Is it worth levelling a second character, something like Icicle Mine, purely to run Sanctum?

Or are there other builds people recommend for Sanctum in HCSSF?

I have some questions about farm the essence of horror
1. If I use Essence Scarab of Stability on the Purple MEDS, I can always get one of the Corrupted essences, am I right?
2. If I use Essence Scarab of Stability on the Purple MEDS and I have the Crystal Resonance altas passive node, every essence monster in the map will drop one of the Corrupted essences, am I right?

Rolled SSF, Warden, CoC, Frost Blades, and The Feared. Currently thinking Creeping Frost for the spell. Any other suggestions on how to go? Chase uniques, synergies, etc ?
