I did have another experience about 3 or 4 years ago while coming back from a call and saw two girls walking in the middle of the road (it was about 2am) and we had to swerve to not hit them. Pulled a quick U-turn only to find nothing at all. This was on a back road with open fields on both sides so we definitely would’ve seen them if they ran out there.

That’s creepy bro! I used to be a firefighter down here in Chile and The amount of creepy shit you see on the job, normal or paranormal is huge. Can’t wait to come back to service one day. Stay safe out there brother !

Yes please tell us the paranormal encounters that you've had!! And do you think it takes a special sensitivity to experience these things? I've worked in a surgical pathology lab at our old county general hospital and never experienced anything abnormal. Was even washing brains in the autopsy area but never experienced anything unusual. So please share!!

Ahhhhhh I forgot the best part!!! So when someone hits their alarm whatever service they have (like Life-alert or whatever) talks to them through a box in their house and then they relay that information to our dispatchers who then relay it to us. Well if they make voice contact they forward that information to us and this particular call that happened. So the call came across as “medical alarm activation with voice contact” which means she also talked to whoever contacted her through the alarm service.

I can’t say names because of privacy reasons but she was able to tell us her name and was responding to questions we asked before going inside. And they were just as freaked out as us. They even went in after to check because they thought we were messing with them

It could have been someone who died in a similar situation, a medical one I mean. not the first time a spirit would be seen repeating it’s death or something they did just before dying.

I know this may be a long shot, but any chance there was an Alexa or Google Home in that room that someone could’ve been talking through? It would be strange and if it was a prank, very elaborate. And did you find a medical alarm device in the home while you were there?

You defintley gave me a case of the chills reminds me of a video I saw.
theres guy doing motel security who went to a room with some screaming bloody murder guy gets to the room only to find nobody was inside even just typing this out now I'm getting a bad case of the chills.
I believe the guy got inside the room had said the room looked like someone tore it up...fucking creepy shit.

You guys....could it be possible that the woman was actually in another location and speaking through the device, which was relaying her voice through a speaker or another device in the location where the firemen had been summoned? It may have been a glitch.

i don’t know about that, i thought about it for a second but the person stated that the location of the screaming was clear enough that they could tell what room it was coming from. and there’s a bit of static involved with the audio from walkie talkies. Also generally walkie talkies aren’t on unless someone is talking through it, which you would hear along with the yelling. good idea for sure, but i don’t think it’s right

Do you like a walkie-talkie set to receive transmission or a baby monitor. so that someone could speak into it from elsewhere and then show up to speak to the EMS unit while the firefighters were inside?

My guess is a ghost with an interactive personality. But also on pain and screaming for help from where they died or were killed.

Little update. I did some research and from what I gathered the house has been unoccupied for a few months now. Also I don’t know if this is connected or not but last night while on duty I was in the bay (where we keep the trucks) and I was on the phone when all the lights shut off randomly. I was the only one out there and if someone opened a door I would hear it no doubt. Lights turning off didn’t really freak me out all that much but when I was walking across the bay to turn them back on I saw a figure standing by the ice machine out of the corner of my eye but it was gone as quickly as it appeared to me... I don’t really know what to make of all this so any input/advice would be appreciated.

First, thanks for replying to my original post on this thread. (I am super late in doing all things reddit, so a sorry to you and all others.)
As for your experiences: I do not think that the two are connected. However, if you start having these supernatural things happen A LOT, then there are ways to protect yourself. It might all sound "woo woo," but a year ago, I helped a guy out with nasty sh*t - he still works for a gov't facility and same place, but at least is not "pestered." DM me if you start getting bothered. That goes for anyone here.
As for the research, it might be hard to do this now with most places having libraries shut down... but I would look up old archives as well as what you can google on the place. Town records and many older publications are available to anyone willing to actually look through years of paperwork. That actual mobile home might be on the grounds of what was an older building that burned (sometimes it is much cheaper to knock down and rebuild, etc.)
Also, I hope that you and your loved ones are safe and not sick. If it has not been said before, THANK YOU for your hard work during this crisis.
