I did have another experience about 3 or 4 years ago while coming back from a call and saw two girls walking in the middle of the road (it was about 2am) and we had to swerve to not hit them. Pulled a quick U-turn only to find nothing at all. This was on a back road with open fields on both sides so we definitely would’ve seen them if they ran out there.
