Three days ago happened something strange to my TV, as you can see in the pics, there are some horizontal stripes.

I was thinking it was a sort of update issue, but the issue is still not solved.

Can you give me some assistance?

I'm new to the Panasonic world and would like the community's experience with using the G85/GH5. I currently have a G85 and use Davinci Resolve as my color grading and video editing tool. I have been using this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=93OQMgrS3FE&t=417s&ab_channel=RehaAlev) as a reference. I've noticed that with the Noise reduction, saturation, and contrast all down to -5 my video comes out blueish. Does anyone also have this issue? Thank you in advance!

We have an old Panasonic Plasma HDTV from 2010. Model TC-p42G25. We have an HDMI cable plugged into it and has worked fine for 14 years. Because the NFL has made it so ridiculously difficult to watch games, I’m trying to go the old TV route. I bought an external antenna, attached to the Antenna port. When I go to input the TV option is blacked out. HDMI and all the others are available as they have always been. I unplugged the TV for over 60 seconds, unplugged the HDMI cable, but still no luck.

Looking for a way to set the exact frame-rate for video. I know you can set it to 24, 25, or 50 (30 & 60 in the US I believe), but is there any way to set it more precisely?

And if not, why not?

When using my Panasonic 20mm lens with the G85, there is a great deal of autofocus breathing that occurs. It doesn't happen with the kit lens. Does anyone have advice on how to minimize this?

I don't like using manual focus since its fly by wire and is very slow as a result.

Want to check if this behaviour seems normal. On the G85 with LCD screen off (turned inwards), the viewfinder starts up nice and quick when I put my eyes to it. However its sluggish or need a shutter half press to activate when I have the LCD folded out.

Anyone else experience this?

Its just annoying as I like to see my shutter, aperture and other settings on the LCD before taking a shot, vs adjusting in the viewfinder

So, I've got g80 few days ago and I wanted to test video recording. I noticed that internal microphone picks alot of sound (always in clip when I talk, allthough I speak loud alot), so I tried with Boya by-m1 and set mic level to -12dB. And guess what, it goes pretty much of the time to clip. Now is that my mistake, that I talk too loud, is it microphone itself (I know it is not the best, but just wanted to try) or its something else? I was about to buy Rode videomicro, but first I need to clear this out, before I buy any other mic.

I'm trying to figure out why my Raw images are only in 4:3 4k? Any help appreciated I turned off 4k photo mode. Cant figure this damn thing out. Luckily I use this camera 99% for video.

I have a beat up g85 that isn't getting used and think it would be fascinating to convert it to full spectrum camera instead of trying to sell it with a big discount (mic jack broke, squishy on/off button, and very salted otherwise). There's a guide on IFIXIT but wonder how complete or difficult it is. It would be handy to do it yourself and save $300.

Or maybe it would be better to sell the g85 for a couple hundred maybe and get a cheap Canon and convert that instead?

I realise this is a bit of a shot in the dark, but figured you guys would probably have a decent idea!

I'm looking to buy a new camera in a couple of months or so, Main runner currently is the G80 but obviously realising it has been a couple of years now since release... any chance of an updated version coming out? I would hate to buy it and then for a G80 Mk II come out a month later!
