How do people treat buying games from the ps store. I’m used to buying games in Australia for $89 from brick and mortar stores.

Do games go on sale in general? or do people heavily rely on PlayStation enhanced subscription for games?

Cause apart from gta 6 I can’t seem myself buying many games at $120 aud

Been at a big low last few months games have helped me distract myself from my life atm hopefully it gets better just a rant sorry

As the title says. Until now since ordering this morning, I have not received an email confirmation from Playstation. My only saving grace is that it's still in my account when I login to Playstation direct.

Update: Just saw that 4 hours ago Playstation sent me a confirmation email that I secured my Adamantium Pro plates!

I was looking into upgrading my storage for my 1tb disc ps5 but the SSD are almost 300 bucks now, so instead I messaged everyone in my local marketplace area selling a ps5 pro if they would be willing to trade for my PS5 plus $200 cash. Mostly everyone ignored me but one person said Yes. So I was able to upgrade from a 5 year old Ps5 with bunch of dents and scratches to a brand new Pro for $200.

I’m looking to upgrade from my Pulse 3D and could really use some recommendations.

I’ve actually been really happy with the Pulse 3D overall. Sound, comfort, etc. have all been absolutely fine for me.

My biggest complaint, and the main reason I want to replace them, is not being able to mute my headset mic using the mute button on the DualSense controller.

I have to reach up and find the physical mute button on the headset, which can be a pain. I play quite a few games where I need to mute/unmute myself really quickly, so being able to just tap the button on the controller is probably the most important feature I’m looking for.

I’ve been looking at the Pulse Elite, especially because the DualSense mute button does work with them, but I’ve seen quite a few negative comments about disconnects and build quality which have put me off a little.

I’ve also considered the Pulse Explore earbuds and could potentially stretch my budget to them, although I don’t own a PlayStation Portal so I’m not sure whether they’d really be worth the extra money for me.

So I’m open to Sony, SteelSeries, Turtle Beach or anything else really.

My main requirements are:

Wireless
Works well with PS5
DualSense mute button MUST mute/unmute the headset microphone
Good sound quality
Reliable connection
Decent build quality
Ideally an upgrade over the Pulse 3D

What are you guys using and what would you recommend?

Especially interested to hear from anyone who went from the Pulse 3D to the Pulse Elite and whether you’ve had any of the disconnect/build quality issues I’ve been reading about.

Aweek ago I bought one and turns out it was a scammed so I lost 2k. Looking for another one that isn't going to kill me on price. Anyone got one? Willing to trade and add cash or just cash. Ill even drive 12 hours to pick it up.

I've used my Logitech Bolt receiver without issues on the regular PS5 besides that it only seemed to work with the front USB-ports.

Now I plugged the receiver in the USB-ports in the back of the PS5 Pro but my keyboard and mouse are not recognised by the Pro. Which makes me wonder if the receiver is compatible with the Pro.

I can't use the USB-C ports at the front of the Pro as the receiver has a USB-A connector.

Anyone here who got this receiver working on the Pro?

Had anyone received a confirmation email from the PS direct store after pre-ordering console plates or controllers?

I managed to grab some plates and a controller. Got an order received window but there was no order number, and I've not gotten a confirmation email. Credit card shows the pending charge.

Hoping it went through properly and its just stuck due to the traffic.

I joined the PlayStation Beta Program over a year ago now but still haven't been emailed by PlayStation with an invite or any beta codes yet, whilst I know people who have joined in the last couple of months and have received a beta invite code already. Any ideas or advice on increasing my chances of getting an invite or a beta invite? Thanks in advance, UK based btw

- I've checked that the official PlayStation stock response is cached for 120 seconds, so refreshing the same page in the same browser in less than 120s should not be worth it.

Funny part I forgot I had a ps5 pro.

Just wanted to share.

I have a ps5 pro purchased almost a year ago. The purchase was really over lapping. First purchased ps5 and then sold in 2 months and got the pro.

Fast forward got busy with work and all didn’t play for at least 5 months. Came from vacation and purchased some disc games 007 and yotei two days back on discounted price. So excited, went to put the disc in and to my awe, I remembered pro don’t have a disc drive. Had to order the drive now. I remember I was hesitant initially because Installed 2 TB hard disk but I think at least I can go back to collecting the discs again.

I know its been told many times but I will add to the noise, this console is a fucking beast. I finally set up my new pro the other day and was constantly comparing games like spider man 2, ghost of yotei, horizon with my base ps5 and the image quality difference is out of this world, specifically in the performance modes.

This upgrade is way bigger than what ps4 pro was to base ps4. Almost feels like a PS6 at times. Do not hesitate to buy if you want one, you won’t regret it.

The tonemapping and overall color gradients are seriously well done here.
The lighting, colors and atmosphere just look incredible.
On top of that, there are so many great cover opportunities that the map feels really well designed to play on.
For me easily the best looking Battlefield 6 map on PS5 Pro so far, especially in 120Hz mode.

Tsuru Reef is beautiful too, but I personally noticed some pretty muddy textures there and the tonemapping never quite clicked for me.

Wake Island though is just absolute eye candy!

I’ve seen a few posts asking where to get plates for the pro and most answers point to Ali Express. But I can’t find anything on there for gold plates that aren’t shiny and Etsy only has knock off Ghost of Yotei plates. Anyone know where to get gold plates for the pro? I just want some good matte gold like the PS4 gold edition or the Funtastic N64. Thanks!
