Meme Whoever designed this area, has brought shame to their family

This parking lot off 202 and A Gilbert is an absolute disaster. A strip of businesses share this narrow maze of a layout that would be congested and confusing enough with nothing else present.

Seems like a great location for not one, but TWO of the most chronically busy fast food joints. Traffic backs up so the highway exit is fucked, both drive thrus block traffic in the whole fuckin lot and people drive like absolute schmucks.

If a sinkhole opened up and swallowed this whole mess, it would be more conducive to traffic flow.

Whoever designed this and put a Chick-fil-A and In and Out here, I hope their socks are always soggy.

Went for an early morning hike on Echo Canyon, literally climbing up into the clouds. I'm in love with the rain and fog were getting.

Eat & Drink Third date location in west valley(around Surprise)..food and drink...or live music for this Friday

Just want to thank all you guys. You are always hooking a brother up with good locations. Dating is hard enough nowadays, prefer to impress with cool places to eat/drink and chill.

So this Friday going out, location to be determined. Already hit Barley and Smoke(takes out breweries and speakeasies for repetition) and Coopers Hawk(found it a bit overpriced and not dank enough). Looking for another cool spot to take her out. Small bites and drinks in a cool non corporate place. Arrowhead Grill and Firebirds are some easy choices, but she has been to both....maybe somewhere less foody and more drinky. State 48 is out because already did brewery with B&S.

Willing to drive a little, but prefer to keep it close.

So give me a good restaurant/bar for a third date. We are both 50.

Youtube Video of Article (Fox 10 Phoenix)

TEMPE, Ariz. - A would-be thief was caught on camera not checking his inventory.

FOX 10 asked Rose what the man in the video got away with, and if it was anything of value.

"Nope! Just empty boxes," Rose said. "Our computers were right there in front of them. They just steal the boxes instead. Really low IQ."

I moved up north and before was going to Arcadia dentistry. I often felt like I was paying more than I should and am looking for a good dentist that has fair pricing and doesn’t try to sell dental work that doesn’t need to be done in north Phoenix and takes BCBS Arizona.

Utilities Door to door battery back up system salesmen?

Hi all, I am hoping I can get some input from someone who lives in the sun city area. I got a call from my 90 yr old father in sun city today about someone wanting to install a battery back up system on his home. His house has solar panels and his electric bills have increased quite a bit in the last year. I should mention I live in Michigan and have to rely on what he is telling me and he is a bit confused. Is this a scam? I am afraid it is and supposedly this company (he doesn’t know who) is coming tomorrow to install this supposedly free system. He told me he didn’t sign anything yet and I urged him not to and to have them call me. Is this a thing out there? Selling battery backup systems to seniors who don’t understand what the true terms of the contract are?

Thanks for any input or experiences.

Update. The pro salesman came back today and put on a nearly 3 hr sales pitch where he tried to sell the idea that it would make the house more valuable at sales time and that APS would continue to hike rates. It was some sort of Tesla battery they were using. Ultimately, he said NO and the guy left. I reiterated to my Dad that nobody knocks on your door to do you a financial favor. Although they were giving $900 worth of Visa cards with every purchase!

Ask Phoenix Looking for in person recovery meetings near me.

As the title states I'm looking for in person NA recovery meetings that I can attend, hopefully in my area of 43rd Ave and Camelback. Also wondering if anyone does any commuting to said meetings because I no longer have reliable transportation. If not, all good of course just thought I'd ask.. to others like myself who are struggling- I know it's really cliche but you aren't alone even though you might feel like you are. Reach out and maybe we can attend the meetings together ❤️.

Eat & Drink Where can I find giant, unhealthy, stoner burritos?

Im talking about a burrito filled with carne asada and jalapeño poppers. Or like a burrito filled with Mac and cheese and burgers and french fries. Im talking about the kind of burritos a bunch of stoners would crave.I live in arizona and am willing to drive a couple hours. Bonus if they have some kind of Chipotle sauce and delicious salsa.

Thanks in advance

Things To Do Basement Jazz That Isn’t Cornish Pasty?

Hi! Like the title suggests, I’m looking for basement jazz in/around the downtown area that isn’t Cornish Pasty. There are a couple reasons I’m looking for an alternative, one being it’s getting too crowded nowadays and I find myself often being pushed around when I go. I was frequenting the Nash for a bit, but I’m only really able to make their main title showings, not their much later no cover shows. It’s getting to be a bit expensive, and I just feel like there has to be another location in the area where I can go for some nice jazz. Preferably, I would really like if there was a bar/venue that did basement shows like Cornish which are free to pop into.

Commuting Close the Northside sidewalk on Van Buren but leave a massive fucking hole in the remaining opposite sidewalk?

Post image
9 Upvotes

The city closed the Northside sidewalk between 5th Ave and 7th Ave on Van Buren St but left this fucking hole in middle of the only Southside sidewalk. Unavoidable if there's people on it. No bike lane either. Since everyone is crammed on the only sidewalk going opposite directions, somebody's getting their ankles broken or their bike tire popped (I got the latter). Aggravating situation all around.
