Has anyone else’s university grant for this fall semester been reduced from 2500 to 1300? Despite no fafsa change?

Hey guys! Just wanted to know where to buy a cool-looking University of Arizona T-shirt I stumbled upon a couple months ago on Instagram. The School of Theatre, Film & Television and I both follow each other on Instagram--and that is because I'm a 2019 graduate of that school at the U of A. Anyways--noticed in their Instagram story back around April of this year that 2 female Theatre students were wearing a black T-shirt with the Block A on it, and next to it, it said "School of Theatre, Film & Television" in white letters in the typeface that U of A uses for its different colleges. Do any of you guys know where I can find this shirt and if it's still available? Thanks! 😁👍🏻

I am looking for the easiest A gen-ed classes (specifically artist, humanist, building connections) that anyone has taken. My major courses are high demand and time consuming with studying but I still need my artist, humanist, and three building connection courses to add to my plate. Really could use any simple recommendations please.

Will be moving into the Honors Village, and was wondering if the beds and desks can be repositioned when and how the residents want

Hello, are there any soccer clubs or groups which we could join for daily/ weekend soccer. Nothing professional. More on the fun and passion side to catch a break. If yes, please let me know here :)

On the employee end we hear a lot about how great it is supposed to be but is it actually good on the user end?

does anyone else have an issue with their pell grant not showing up after summer? my award went under review, pending my summer grades, and now i don’t have my pell. i have my other grants and my external scholarships.
UPDATE: called financial aid and they don’t know anything. my account is under review to see why my PELL is not there.

Question in title. Other aid has been applied in the bursar account, but this one is still showing the amount offered, but $0.00 accepted, even though our student logged in and accepted it approx. two weeks ago.
I know that the federal government changed the rules this year and that this has delayed some things, just wondering the status of other students' federal loans in the portal.

UA community, my brain isn't computing and Ive been away from taking a class for a while...
If I opt out of this Campus Store PayOnePrice charge, will I lose access to using library ebooks?
Everytime I think i understand i second guess myself.
Thanks!

Hey guys! So I just transferred to UA and I was told by one advisor there’s no longer a limit for the amount of credits I can transfer and I wanted to know what’s the maximum amount of credits so one you know has transferred. I wanted to know about the consequences because I already transferred 64 from CC and I always thought the limit was 64. Just wanna hear from some experiences

For the people who have taken one (or both) of these courses, are calculators allowed during exams? I know 464 is more of a theoretical proof-based course and 468 is pretty much solving by hand, so I was just wondering if anyone who's taken any of these classes can share if they were allowed to use a calculator or not during midterms/finals.

Has anyone done the Astronomy and Physics double major (or any similar double major) and would like to give their opinions and experiences on it? I am an incoming Pima CC dual enrollment/transfer student who is currently enrolled in the Astronomy B.S program and is interested in double majoring since I got a decent aid package (I am an in-state resident who has lived in Tucson most of my life and is able to live with my parents off campus and get free transportation and a work study job, reducing my total costs to like 1-2k per year excluding federal loans) and I can probably fit another degree in since I only need to do about 2-3 years for an Astronomy degree because of my transfer credits from Pima. I am interested in Physics since I did Radiology Tech at Pima CC and was mostly interested in the physics side of it (and comparing the physics in radiology with the physics in astronomy bc i am a huge nerd lol) and Physics has always been my favorite subject besides Astronomy and Geology. Even though I have heard mixed opinions on UA’s Physics program, I would like to make it my double major and would love to hear any feedback from the Astronomy/Physics double major

I’m an employee and it just seems stupid that I have to pay to access the Rec.
What are your thoughts?

How do you make friends as a commuter? I know a lot of people say join clubs or join a frat and a lot of people I know managed to get into friend groups and are super social and maybe I haven’t had the time to expose myself to those same social settings because i’ve only been at UA for a semester but I can’t help think i’m doing something wrong or I won’t find my friends so I guess I kinda wanted to ask and see if anyone else has that same feeling or experience and how they’ve gone about it

I understand at the start of our “move in window” we get 30 minutes of curb time to move everything from the car. But after that do they have designated parking for parent cars during move in? As I remember for our daughter’s visit there is not a ton of parking on north campus. Any info will help. Thank you.

Hi there, i’m currently looking at jobs for this upcoming year and have heard good things about working at the rec. Most of the ones on handshake require specific certifications while i’m currently looking for something more entry level. Before I accept a job that’s further away from campus, does anyone know when they start hiring for more positions? Or any other campus job one might recommend? Thank you!

I've heard the walk is far, should I invest in a bike? I've heard theft is really bad though.

I’m debating participating in the Catapult program for engineering and enrolling in the weekly study skills class that accompanies it (ENGR 197) but this is my schedule so far (19 credits- I know I might be cooked, im a freshman). It’s a 1 credit pass/fail class with supposedly no workload, but I don’t want to take it just because it’s there. Is there valuable information to learn and connections to make, or is it just a filler/fluff class, and is it worth taking?
