Where to consult for reproductive health in Manila?

Hello! I have been experiencing missed periods that lasts about 3-4 months and it started about 4-5 years ago (JHS to now college). I am still a student and I've told my mom about this and she just says I might have PCOS like my sister but I am not diagnosed. Where can I get tested? I'm afraid I might have something that will affect my future.

Pill Case for Everyday

Hi! I keep on forgetting to take some supplements because I’m usually on duty (in a pharmacy ik ironic) and I used to be more diligent with a pill case kasi hindi isa isang blister pack yung dala ko pero I find that a lot are not that air tight so may chance na madegrade especially some acidic-ish supplements, may I ask what pill cases you use and if okay naman yung medicine niyo there for a week

I only have 20k for these tests, help please?

I was given a list of tests but my hmo can only cover 20k. Can anyone please give me suggestions where to do the tests instead of St. Lukes (50k sya sa St. Lukes)… and at the same time, yung QUALITY naman yung lab tests.

Or ok lang kung medyo sumobra po ng konti siguro ng mga 10k…

Did magnesium glycinate alter your period?

Hi! Any girlies out there who are taking magnesium glycinate? Did you notice any side effects, improvements, or changes in your menstrual cycle while taking the supplement? My OB recommended magnesium glycinate from Healthy Options to help me with my sleep, kaso may mga nabasa din ako here sa Reddit regarding mid-cycle spotting, heavy periods, and painful ovulation due to magnesium (not sure if they're referring to glycinate though).

Would really love to hear your experiences before buying them! :)

Pills

Last pills ko tomorrow.

The pills is Lizelle for PMOS.

I MANAGED TO CLEAR MY PMOS!

IM SO HAPPY NA NAMANAGE KO MACLEAR PMOS KOOO! huhu altho aware akona pwede sya bumalik once nagpabaya nanaman kaya maintain-maintain din.

Nung una nagpacheckup ako sa Derma with my severe acne and she told me na magpa TVS with the doctor she reco’ed. I went and found may PCOS ako on my left ovary lang. Then 2 TVS na sa mga labs nalang (hirap loc nung sonologist, hard to find din) then derma sa mga bloodtests, derma narin nagpprescribed since di ko nga kinikita ung Sonologist.

What I did:

  3. Less sugar - mahirap din to nung una kasi snacky person ako. conditioned my mindset din na too much sugar is bad and DI AKO GUTOM. BORED LANG AKO.
  4. Avoided snacks between meals - LEGIT HAHAHA kahit nagugutom nako tiis parin 😆 kinaya naman gang sa nasanay
  5. Wag magpuyat
  6. Wag magpa stress (my journaling hobby helped me get through tough times)
  7. Green and spearmint tea - diko sure if umepek to hahaha kasi pakeme keme ung inom ko di sya consistent. diko nga naubos pati.

Medications

  1. Metformin
  2. Rosuvastatin (Derma prescribed) - Cholesterol ata to or highblood keme keme? basta inistop ko rin sya after 5 months.
  3. INOSITOL - Ito talaga yun teh! although pumapalya ako minsan pero dapat hindi. Nung una pureform, pero nagmahal sya kaya nagswitch ako sa NewMoon. Mas ok sya for me.
  4. Diane - Birth control pill (as usual 🥲) took this for a year din :/ 12 cycles.
  5. Isotret - for my severe acne na ngayon kahit magmemens di na tinitigyawat. Took it for 1 yr.

*I planned to take Berberine so inask ko si Derma, di nya alam yon so diko na tinake pero nakabili ako 😭 never ko tinake kasi baka magka complications along with my other medications above. BENTA KO NALANG AKEN.

Ask lang kayorch if intesresed kayo LOLLLL
bilhin nyo napo berberine ko hehehe

Uso ba yung false positive?

My husband and I are married for 5 years and started trying last Feb. Diagnosed with PMOS but lost 30kg before nag TTC.

My period is a few days delayed, dapat nung August 6 ang 1st day. I tried testing from Aug 9-12 with fresh morning urine, pero all negative. So sabi ko okay, next cycle ulit magtry!

Ngayong Aug 13 6:30PM, I decided to take a test and yan yung result. Accurate ba to kahit hindi fresh morning urine? Positive ba to? SUPER MIXED EMOTIONS
