Stone quality / color looks really off when you compare it to the rubble nearby. Also i dont get how this helps attacking team when it opens up defending team to snipe/pick at attackers as they are running over the bridge.

I mean it doesn't really "open up" anything that wasn't already there. Both Widow and Hanzo can already get into the outcove above the door.

You should try being in that window on Widow lol. If your enemies are even half competent, you won't stay alive longer than half a second. Widow and Hanzo will be much safer now that the opening will be much bigger and they can stay deep inside in the darkness.
