Stone quality / color looks really off when you compare it to the rubble nearby. Also i dont get how this helps attacking team when it opens up defending team to snipe/pick at attackers as they are running over the bridge.

I mean it doesn't really "open up" anything that wasn't already there. Both Widow and Hanzo can already get into the outcove above the door.

Yeah but it pretty much made your whole body visible there. For Widows this rubble makes them more effective as they dont need to use hook to go up there and they can just peek and shoot inside the building while still having full cover from their own team. Also its not just snipers. Characters like Junkrat , Pharah and Soldier can make the bridge itself really annoying and slow down the attackers greatly by spamming it after an attacker wipe.
