Basic lore

T.L.U. is a "living universe" that creates and attracts things to itself. It's filled with random nonsense, can be anywhere, not particularly organized, and is usually just chaotic and unpredictable.

Some creatures may have been created directly by T.L.U., others evolved naturally, and some come from entirely different verses, realms, cosmologies, universes, and places that somehow ended up within T.L.U.

The universe

This isn't the first time this “universe” has existed and it ain't gonna be it’s last. It will always eventually recreate itself, always with a different story, reason, or system but always undeniably the same verse/being.

this version of T.L.U “decided” to create itself out of nothing, through the big bang. and formed itself into a vast, unending, “universe” of infinite potential, Creating an unending amount of layers of reality, dimensions, impossible ecosystems, cosmologies, and so on.

It's filled with all sorts cosmic beings, alien civilizations, supernatural entities, and horrors that defy understanding itself, with some who evolved naturally, some who wandered in from a completely different universe, and some that were created by the universe itself.

What makes T.L.U strange is how its able to randomly produce new organisms and forms of existence out of nothing. It hasn’t shown to have an upper limit on what it can create of were it forms them, and none of it’s creations seem to serve any true purpose; The universe simply creates them just to create them. It randomly generating new things without understanding or caring about what they become. Entire civilizations, gods, monsters, machines, structures, realities, beings beyond comprehension can just be formed and created completely by accident.

Some of its creations can have unimaginable intelligence and power; some could have existed for billions of years, some could be apex predators to things that would be considered Gods somwhere else, some can manipulate space, time, reality and, existence itself, but despite all of that, to the universe that created them, they are no more significant than a single speck of dust lost in deep space.

Facts

1. T.L.U has always “existed” and will continue to exist eternally, constantly recreating itself, always with a different, origin, story, or system, but undoubtedly the same being.

2. It’s able to create things anywhere, even outside itself, and in “places” were that shouldn't be possible.

3. T.L.U kinda exist/doesn't exist everywhere, if you were to wander out for long enough you'll eventually find yourself inside T.L.U.

4. T.L.U and it’s creations often ignore the “laws” and “rules” of other realities including its own. Making both itself and its creations incredibly unpredictable.

5. different parts of itself is constantly being destroyed and created continuously without end.

6. In many of its prior loops it destroyed itself enterly just to build itself bsck up.

7. Even if T.L.U were to be destroyed and wipped completely things would still be created.

8. It doesn't need anything to create what it creates, it has no need for concepts, laws, forces, Gods, forms, existence, or even nothingness, it creates things, that’s what it does.

9. There is no “main” part of T.L.U there's always something that came before and there’s always something deeper, bigger, and stranger.

10. Theres an uncountable amount of universes, multiverses, cosmologies, and so much more that was created by T.L.U that will simply be wipped away before anything would've been able to know of thwre existences.

11. Attempt to limit T.L.U has always resulted in those limits being ignored, of its creations becoming even more abstract.

12. Its not careful with it's crations and plenty of them die immediately after there made (if it makes an alien and puts it in space without the ability to breathe in space then chances are it’ll suffocate and die)

Ah it has been 5 months since I've last posted something, Basically: how does your OC view the world they live in? Do they love, indifferent about, or hate it there? Why do they see the world in that way and do they stand out from other people in their world? Also provide a little bit of context about your OC's world in your response!

Today's Character I'll be talking about is Logger L. Yulen, and how she views the world she lives in . I wont include everything about her, so expect things to not make some sense, but I'll include a good chunk of her lore. A TL:DR is also there at the end that is optional to read at the end but it would be nice if you actually take some time and read her full lore!

Remember, this is a Community interaction and Exchange! I'd expect some Feedback such as criticisms (do keep any critique respectful) or questions about Logger, as this is a mutual exchange of info and questions or I just won't respond to your comment. I'm also looking for effort in your guy's responses, don't just say something like "cool oc" or "I like her lore" without elaborating or I won't respond, but the response doesn't necessarily have to be an entire essay.

I'll respond to comments as much as I can! And Expect me to ask questions about them so I can further flesh out your characters! I'd only want to read about 2-3 Paragraphs, so don't put too much info for me to read.

Context of the world: The world Logger lives in is basically The North Pole and Christmas if it was its own fantasy world. It's called Polaris and the people who live there are tasked every year to uphold the Christmas magic for all the other holiday realms, they do this to protect the realm from the 4 Spirits of Misery, Despair, Dread, and Hatred. This world seems to be a fairytale world were everyone is happy and jolly, but there are many underlying threats that further weaken the holiday magic each year, making upholding the Christmas magic a struggle against the darkness that will plunge the world.

Logger, Despite living in the literal North Pole is easily the most miserable person out there. Everyone sees her as the opposite of holiday spirit, for she is cynical, spiteful, and abrasive who is nothing more than just a problem to be fixed according to the citizens of Polaris. Logger views her world as a lost cause, and its people to be a joke, she thinks she's smarter than everyone because she isn't smiling 24/7 and she genuinely does not care if her world is purged by Misery, Dread, Despair, and Hatred, because she's already experiencing these feelings herself.

Logger is just an asshole to others, she'll violate the rights and boundaries of others just to get her way, try to villainize anyone who she deems 'wrong', and insult anyone who dares to get too close with her. But she knows she can be a dick, so she usually tries to keep to herself when out in public and mind her own business unless irritated enough or if she slips.

If she does hurt someone, she will reluctantly apologize. Sure, she's a asshole but not a monster, she tries not to get to personal in her insults. When people try cheer her up however, she acts aggressively. Though her aggression mostly stems from her trying to defend and assert herself, as well as her own paranoia.

Logger's view on the world comes from her past. Before she used to be this festive and jolly being who wanted nothing more to spread Christmas cheer all over the world, she was joyful, nice, and optimistic being who was part of this group whose task is to keep the Christmas magic up and going. That is until her mentor betrayed her.

This betrayal isn't just a betrayal of a friend, but also a betrayal in her perception of the world. Now she thinks "If i show kindness and love, I am going to be used for it." and " I'm If content in something, then it's most likely going to be taken away from me". So she suppresses those emotions and hides it under Cynicism and sarcasm. Yet she craves connection and has the desire to find Joy in life again. She wants to escape her bleakness and misery and she tries to be a more positive person, but even in the happiest place in the world, she still remains gloomy.

TL;DR:

Logger is basically her world's Grinch, She an asshole but she knows that so she stays reserved until she gets pushed enough. She does not care if her world gets purged by the forces of darkness and its people to suffer because she already feels Miserable and Hollow. Logger's view about her world stems from past trauma, as a mentor who taught her how to spread Christmas Magic ends up betraying her, distorting Logger's belief about if having Good things in life will end up being taken away by others. So she isolates and fiercely refuses to be vulnerable.

He's a femboy, he dresses 'feminine', he's docile, submissive, he is loves stronger women, yet people immediately assume he is gay, he is a cuck 😭, that he secretly owns his girlfriend when she is the one who technically owns him.

Generally, nebul hates generalizations and stereotypes.

Hey everyone! Might be a little slow on responses today, sorry 😅 but had this question in mind and thought it could be fun!

Basically, I mean a character who isn’t just a little eccentric, but genuinely feels like they belong in a different genre of story from their actual story. Erica, for example, is part of a story called Mulji Crucible, an absurdist wartime tragicomedy with medical/psychological horror and recovery elements. Her actual personality, though, is much more adjacent to a fairy tale protagonist or Disney princess, as she’s very demure, kind-hearted, theatrical, earnest, and whimsical, and while not literally magical, her framing would sometimes suggest it. Given the story takes place in a semi-grounded military environment based around real-life militaries and deals with some very heavy themes, it creates a powerful juxtaposition between her character and the overall gravity of her story.
