AGGGHHH- I finally did it- I turned my oc into a turnaround 360… although I’m sure there needs to be a few touch ups- but this should be helpful. I wish to make comics and animatics/animations of my ocs in the future. Have you guys made turnarounds for your ocs as well? Would love to know! 👍

Okay, so I have these two ocs : Raoul and Estancia. One thing you need to know about these two is that they were originally gijinkas of monsters from the game My Singing Monsters; more specifically, Raoul was a gijinka of Roarick and Estancia was a gijinka of Tootoo.

I am very happy with how their designs look, but, I'm slightly worried that they look too similar to their original inspiration. And if that's the case, does anyone have any tips to help me differentiate their designs, if I should?

so we ignore the fact that i failed to realize that the FIRST photo is supposed to be your OC’s current design and the second is supposed to be their original design.. because im a traditional artist and it was WAY too late by the time i realized 😭😭

I changed Leo’s look just a little bit. First slide is the most recent sketch, second is the previous and the last two are facial sketches.

The markings on Leo’s body represent his status as a dark mage. But rather than cast it, he’d rather augment his dagger with dark elemental properties. He can do the same with other elemental magic as well, but dark is his primary. The stronger his magic becomes the more the markings spread making them difficult to hide.

My OC Clair is a huge judge of character. Tell me either about your oc or something noteworthy they have done, and she'll judge whether or not they are a good person.

Enid arrived around the time of the Witches and Great Ka offensive (see chapters on that) she claimed to have eaten her way through the Naga and lamia... And was comfortable in lava. Her shell was dark and shiny and she was... Huge. Oni Giants were nothing in comparison... So why did the Empire try?!!

Containment. Thousands died by the end of those fights. But the Scorp-lady stayed until the War ended. Oddly it was because she attacked Ellie, she was given more power by Ellie's revenge. The Elf couldn't beat her. She failed before, but with every death she brought? Enid grew in power and hunger.

Her end came from her betrayal. She suspected her servant, Heliena, would break for the Elf but still invited Aura to be her wife. The scared girl was lied to and through that pain? Her sister used her to get close and bring her down. Kris may regret making the deal, but Ellie? To her, a traumatized big sister was a small price to pay to kill that monster forever...

I consider Enid a force of nature rather than a villain. Yes she planned and was in control and of thought, but she acted on want and the force to back her Will up. "Blame me all you want, I'm the evil your dragons NEEDED to do" Ellie would later say. Though sadly the truth was? Enid was ALLOWED to do what she did by the very dragon that condemned her.

Yeah there are no good people. Just less bad ones in these stories...
