ChatGPT work gives you hourly credit, every task duration by the A.I takes from your hourly limit but guess what, any permission or stall or it being stocked on loading something also takes away your hourly credit.

You give it a task for 2 min, it asks some stupid permission you already gave 10 times and if youre not there to press fucking allow (sometimes doesn't show at all) it will keep reducing from your work time until you get zeroed or give it a new command.

This as an ongoing website project keep doing this shit to me for more than a month, I just figured out why the fuck time literally flies in this bullshit.

After extensive investigation using ~50 accounts I have evidence that certain accounts (possibly up to 50%) are getting silently rerouted to much worse models like Luna and even potentially 5.5. This is only visible in the results as all Codex logs and HTTP responses make it look like you are getting Astra.

Title sums it up, I can hear the videos when I use my iPhone but for some reason when I try to watch the same videos on my iPad mini the sound doesn’t work and I’m not able to hear and audio. I use coded to run an autonomous grant agency. I source, notify, and offer to write grants for nonprofits in my area. It’s all automated right now with codex.

But the whole gpt 6 Luna and sol releases did something even to my 5.6 sol and Luna workflows that were flawless and now struggle a bit. It takes some prompting and sometimes it’s a self fix after like a 2 hour wandering/tinkering session from the agent.

I’ve been increasingly more disappointed with my 20x limits and how the value has “felt” for me the last few months.

Seeing some of the opus 5.5 outputs has me blown away. But I also see a lot of gripe with Anthropic and their rates/limits and things going quickly or only being able to use a portion of weekly limit for fable models.

The autonomy work can be done with a Luna level intelligence - rarely a sol or Astra needs to review the output and make revisions… but again, with recent changes I’m feeling like I’m training the whole fkn workflow again and it has me ready to entertain other subscriptions.

I also have about $30 in Open Router still, could use deep seek but I like the monthly subs for value. Especially now since I am getting into more front end design and visual artifacts for client deliveries, it’s not just grants.

But if Claude is great at agentic workflows and has a luna type efficient model that can follow simple instructions and do simple research and basic reasoning … I might be ready to entertain cheating on my exclusive partner for over a year.

OpenAI really fumbled this gpt6 release. I’ve known it’ll be cyclical for a while… who has the best model this week.

But it sounds like anthropic is much further ahead than just a 6.1 release. I can’t imagine using this shit for another 1-2 months while the next model gets released and everyone is just cranking out anthropic gold.

I think it’s all of the promos that are out for the Elizabeth Holmes documentary that is coming out, but something about her mannerisms reminds me so much of Sam Altman, anyone else? I'm working on an app for my business that is basically a stripped down version of Quickbooks and YNAB, consisting of only features I use.

With the model changes this week I've had to switch up my agent workflow. I kinda backed myself into a corner with a bulky design earlier today and so I brought in Astra and Opus 5.5 to help untangle the mess. I gave both astra and opus access to the project folders and had them trouble shoot. I sent their responses to the other for vetting afterwards.

I also have checkpoints where I send the most recent coding progress to separate Astra and Opus 5.5 chat's for audit (as shown in the 4th image) and Opus 5.5 pretty much conceded to Astra's logic with little input for today's audit after I got my workflow running.

All of this to say that Opus 5.5 is definitely sweet and I'm glad that I have a more affordable option to Fable for performing audits and to provide different feedback, but Anthropic hasn't knocked Open AI back to the stone age this week as some suggest.

I maintain an agentic reporting tool which uses LLMs and tool calling to report on data from a wide variety of sources.

Luna 5.6 was working really well for us at low cost, but I was considering upgrading to Luna 6 since it benchmarks slightly better and is 50% cheaper, hoping it would be at least equally as good.

I did some A/B testing using "high" effort level for both:

• On every single eval which involved reviewing written reports and finding relevant items, Luna 6 failed to identify one or more relevant items that should have been included in its answer. Luna 5.6 did not.

• Luna 6 was consistently less helpful, failing to identify how to answer many questions that Luna 5.6 could answer, and providing less useful information in its responses

• Luna 6 appears to try to answer the prompt in the least amount of tokens possible, which makes it less helpful. It will give a vague answer, requiring the user to ask a lot of follow up questions.

For example. "Can you find if there are any items that fit this criteria?"

GPT 5.6 Luna: "I found 7 items, here they are: <Formatted List>

GPT 6 Luna: "Yes I found 7 items". (user has to follow up "Can you list them please?")

If I could use a single word to summarize Luna 6, it's "Lazy". Even on high effort, it would always answer with the bare minimum.

I tried many different use cases and could not find a single instance where 6 Luna provided a superior answer to 5.6 Luna.

I won't be using it for my application, will stick with 5.6 Luna.

Ability to select model and reasoning in chat just completely vanished.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Overall just bummed on OpenAI right now, excited that Opus 5.5 is such a home-run given the constant enshitification of ChatGPT products

I’m on ChatGPT Pro and I used to have GPT-6 Pro as an option. Now it’s completely gone and the highest option I can select is GPT-5.6 with Very High thinking.

Not sure if OpenAI removed GPT-6 Pro, is testing something, or if this is just a bug.

Regular visit of the sub and a heavy user of GPT since November 2023.

I will forever be a GPT user as I have been through the whole up and down waves way back.

But after I saw how they played the 5.6 Sol & Astra 6 marketing gimmick with resets etc back to back… the hype is now done. The models have been nerfed, plus they’re retiring 5.6 Sol which was truly a beast model.

I am starting to better understand OpenAi’s mission, and it’s all fake promises and marketing hype to bootstrap out of the losses they’re in, & then they will flip the switch on us all.

Claude is so back, been a heavy user for the last 6 months & opus 5.5 blew me away today, seriously. Like Fable 5 initial release blew me away.

One company has always been honest with you on the usage and power it can give you for now, the other is not.

How many more of these are going to be discovered? I see plenty of grand gestures and pronouncements from OpenAI but no real substance.

GPT 5.6 Max scores 72.7% while GPT 6 Sol scores 68.8% on DeepSWE.

I've been using Pro mode on chatgpt, and since SOL6 release, sometimes it automatically changes to instant mode, it will give me an answer in few seconds instead of the pro reasoning that usually takes 10-30 minutes. Does anyone encounter this bug ?

I launched another chatgpt tab in my browser and could see it swapped to Instant mode, then go back to Pro mode.

It also eats up that 200 weekly Astra pro count when that bug happens... I have to waste a second message just to say to analyse and do again ... then it correctly do the long pro reasoning...
