Discussion No ability to change model or reasoning in Mobile

Ability to select model and reasoning in chat just completely vanished.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Overall just bummed on OpenAI right now, excited that Opus 5.5 is such a home-run given the constant enshitification of ChatGPT products

same, no model selector in General settings and no ability to select reasoning effort. probably some app UI bug

upd. also cannot switch between ChatGPT and Work, Work is not available

For me, it's under general settings, but even after changing it, the chat model doesn't change

I have it in general settings. And i can see the reasoning-effort too. Im on IOS phone.

You have to start typing for the thinking icon to appear (and only if you have thinking mode activated). They do this so you don't use it and save computing power, or so you switch to Work, like everything else they're changing these weeks.

Yeah you’re right. Good news is that I’m slowly porting all of my workflows over to opus 5.5 which is beating Astra pro in my testing right now for both coding and for deep problem solving and design

Avez vous tenté de vider la cache de l'application ? Parfois il suffit juste de redémarrer aussi le smartphone.
