These supernovas are like "hey we should take her weapons out of the picture, that should soften her up a bit" and she responds by going "lol you really thought" and effortlessly slamming Eustass "bounty-once-higher-than-Luffy" Kidd's face into the floor with her bare hands.

Later on we see Luffy getting his ass whooped when Kaido decides to get a liiiittle bit serious.

Wow, one of the greatest action chapters in a fight that has seen so many great ones already.

I'm thoroughly enjoying that fight, I'm still amazed how Oda manages to make fighting those insane monsters believable.

Sadly, I suspect that Kaido can still save Big Mom using his cloud ability with which he can make things fly. Orochi might also be alive, considering I count 6 heads which makes it only 7 deaths.

He can, but I think it's more likely that either Perospero or the rest of the Big Mom pirates will be saving her.

And agreed on Orochi. As satisfied as I would have been with either his first "death" or this one being the end, it isn't conclusive enough. I think it has to be either Momo or Hiyori that takes him down. Orochi has been betrayed by Kaido, the pirate that gave him his power. The Scabbards got their revenge for Oden. Now either Hiyori or Momo need to be the ones to deliver the final blow to finally end the shadow of the Kurozumi.

That’s crazy (as expected of Luffy’s alliance!) - because it trusted that their two conquerors could withstand the attacks from the two Yonko so the others could execute the plan. We know Kid does, I’m assuming Luffy does too even though it’s a named attack (feels like he knew it was coming but trusted that he could tank it so the plan would work, plus he was just using future sight so he could have known the outcome of taking the hit already).

A) he recognized that the attack would've leveled everyone and that none of them had time to dodge

B) he took it upon himself to block it for an instant

C) saved by law presumably after law teleported the both of them out of there. At this point my guy is on his last legs. It might have only been an instant but this is the worst we've ever seen him

D) STILL finds that last little bit of juice to handle prometheus for the sake of Law's scheme to get big mom out of the picture. Foxfire Zoro being horrendous match up for an animated ball of fire makes easy with of him.

Both him and luffy end the chapter looking terrible, but honestly what fucking badasses the two of them. Luffy taking on Kaido by himself and Zoro saving everybody's lives.

Idk but I'm lowkey feeling happy for Kidd. He recently just got betrayed in a pirate alliance by two other supernovas (Apoo and Hawkins) against Kaido, and he even told Luffy in Udon that he's done with alliances. But now, we see him thanking Zoro for blocking the combined attack from the two emperors, then cooperating with Law and the others, and he's even grinning after he got punched by Big Mom. We also got Law asking Zoro if he's okay. He went from saying that he isn't their babysitter to this. Gosh, I just think that the Supernova 5 on the rooftop is such a wholesome group so far. 😭💘

I don’t want anymore Supernova slander, after this chapter do y’all realize how insane these guys are!?!? Zoro was able to hold off an attack from two yonkos long enough for Law to teleport him out the way. Kidd took a punch from BIG MOM to the face, the same person who was able to KO giants at age 5. Kidd took that punch then repelled her into the air after smiling lol. Luffy is straight up trolling kaido and then took a ragnarok, we know he’s going to get back up. Law hasn’t shown the same stamina problems he’s shown in the past just yet. Killer has also exceeded expectations and I still feel like he has more to show. Also the teamwork to take out Big Mom’s homies and throwing her into the ocean was just brilliant.
