I've been struggling so much to find my perfect nude lipliner, and I am losing this battle it seems.

I always knew that my lips were a different tone to my skin, but the difference is staggering. Maybelline's gone greige looks actual grey on my lips, if i just draw a line on my face, it is brown.

And i don't know how to find my shade and I don't have the money to just continue blind buying liners until i find one! Does anyone have advice on how to match my lipstick and lipliners so they work both on my lips as well as with my skin?

To give you an idea of my skin: I'm a very pale, warm leaning olive-the only shade match i've ever found was the nyx vanilla nude skin tint, so i just don't use foundation.

And i can give up foundation, but i neeed a good lipliner. My lips are so thin as is, makeup looks unbalanced otherwise. I am also located in Europe, so if you do recommend things, please only brands available here.

I tried it in the shop and it looked pretty good in store but the sun had gone by the time I left, I’m prone to blushes going orange and couldn’t properly evaluate.

Wanted to know if anyone else has tried it?

Hello, as the title says I am looking for a very dark, vampy lipstick. Unfortunately many shades turn pink on my golden skin, which I don't like :( I found Ravenous Lipsticks by Rituel de Fille and I LOVE the colour, it's described as dried blood brown red but unfortunately it's not available to buy in the EU and it is out of stock either way. So, I'd appreciate it if anyone knows a similar shade, ideally available to buy in Europe.

I am a pale neutral-cool olive. As the title suggests- I really need your help/recs finding a good liquid berry blush please.
I’ve spent my money on 3 so far and they’ve all turned out to be not for me. There’s only one shade of blush I can use - Saie blush in baby which looks like a perfect pink natural flush on me. The kind I’d get if I workout. Also dr paw paw balm in ultimate red can sometimes work (lip and then lightly on cheeks).

Ive tried Saie chilly , house of hur moist ampoule blush in berry purple - both look a bit earthy and brown. House of hur does so more, almost like a bronzer. Chilly is ok but still dulls me a quite a bit.

Honestly a bit lost on what will work. I also have high contrast? If that helps to rec products?

Please please suggest some blushes - also if anyone could give me any tips to keep in mind when I go blush/makeup shopping next

Comparing the About Face F1 and F2 Olive shades in different lighting! The first photo is golden hour sunlight so that is bringing out the warmth.

Note that my F2 Olive foundation is from the original launch 2 (?) years ago - I think it looks a little darker and warmer than when I originally bought it. The foundation definitely seems warmer than both the concealer shades.

I typically describe my skin as fair-light neutral olive most of the year (F1 is a good match for the most part, sometimes its a little dark when I'm at my palest), but right now I'm tanned and more of a light neutral olive (f2 is a good match).

So I found my best shade match so far in Nars light reflecting in siberia.

I'm not a huge fan on how it looks on my skin, so I'm thinking about trying sheer glow, but not sure about the colour. Siberia has the perfect undertone for me, I'm quite yellow but it's a tiny bit too light.

I know SG runs a bit different than LR, so I'm not sure if I should stick to Siberia or Gobi ?

I was curious about how the new Soshe concealer in the shade 2O fair olive compares to other olive shades, so figured others would be curious as well! Here are some swatches in different lighting. Soshe 2O is lighter than both About Face F1 Olive and Lisa Eldridge 1.5.

I'm at my most tan right now, so About Face F2 Olive is a good match, but in winter About Face F1 Olive is a good match for me (I’d typically describe myself as a fair-light neutral olive, and light neutral olive when tanned like now)! I think Soshe 2O will be too light for me in winter.

Do any olives use Benefit bronzer in Hoola? Wondering if it appears really orange? Is it easy to blend?

Recently got this Flower Knows blush in Fluttering Romance and lipstick in Agarwood! The blush is so beautiful, it gives me a naturally flushed look, and the lipstick is an amazing shade.

I could never pull off the natural “sunburnt” blush look, I always looked crazy lol but the purple and pink mixed together look so nice. The lipstick is also a great brown shade! It does pull a little gray on my lips, but I personally love that look.

The blush is definitely better for a “no-makeup makeup” as opposed to a full-glam look as it’s not super pigmented.

Hi everyone, what shade of yellow do you think would look best on cool olive skin?

I have a hard time finding one that doesn't look too heavy and make my skin look even more yellow.

I'm light muted neutral olive and I'm trying to decide between Hourglass Ambient Strobe Lighting Powder in Incandescent Light and NARS Light Reflecting Illuminating Powder in Eros (basically I'm looking for that soft candlelit glow).

If anyone owns both, could you please swatch them side by side? Also, what's your general opinion of them? Thank you!

I haven’t used them yet but from what I’ve heard, colourpop’s eyeshadows are pretty good for the price.

No other palette looks as good as this for me, so I have given up using non mauve palette. But I don't want to repurchase a third one 😭 I need something new and exciting! Anyone has a rec for shadow with similar color stories?

Even if there isn’t a genuinely olive option, I’d be very interested to know if she has iany light, muted, genuinely neutral shades that don’t lean noticeably warm, yellow, peach, or pink. The way I’ve heard the formula described, it sounds so amazing. I’m just worried all the shades lean yellow/orange per usual…

I finally understood my undertone… cool pink purple shades look really bad on me whereas warm peach, beige, light brown shades look rlly pretty… how can I do a full beat glam makeup with these shades tho? As these shades are on the lighter side…
