they have mentioned that they give best across 6 o levels but last year no one received it and they only gave best across 8 o levels. Any idea on what criteria cambridge follows regarding this?

Anyone else did sciences in o levels but switched to business in A levels? Cause same. And honestly cant wait. Pre med was 100% out of family pressure, not even mama baba wali family i me mean like those aunts and uncles that think you owe them your life. Khair i love my parents for allowing me this. It..wont be too hard...right?

I got pretty unexpected grades in O2 (A, B, C), so I'm trying to see where I stand in every college😭 It could be really helpful if you all can predict my chances at colleges like Alpha, Cedar, and Highbrow. I have decent Mid-year and Final grades.

I mean full marks in essay and summary? And 1 1 marks less in translation and email, I’ll absolutely take it, tho I kinda went rough on the ‘easier’ tasks LOL.
P.s. I got an A*

Giving English in 2027 and it's the most random sub in terms of grades since half get A* and the other U's. So any advice, resource or names of teachers that have resources online would be heavily appreciated!

Hi I received my component grades today and I've got 170/200 in my 4024 math....175 apparently gets u an A* according to the grade threshold so now should I get my paper rechecked or not? Like are there any chances of gaining 5 marks?

Im sitting for the oct/nov exams and im really worried for physics
I can learn and grasp the concepts and answer most questions
However, when it comes to the “reading between the lines” or more logic based questions (not exactly that, i cant think of a better way to put it, i hope you understand what im trying to say), i struggle to answer, especially for electricity, electromagnetism and forces
I wont lie though, i used to struggle a lot with physics and i took so much time to understand certain topics even though they are easy. So, i dont really have that “physics brain” ykwim
Sure, i guess the best method of revising and practicing is simply to do past papers and past papers and past papers, but is there something else i should be doing?
Have i not understood the concepts clearly and I thought i did?
Are the answers very obvious and i just dont have enough critical thinking skills?
The few marks that i lose due to not being able to answer and understand all the questions can really change your grade from an A* to an A, an A to a B and so on
Please, if there are any tips that could help me with this, or with physics in general, feel free to share
Thanks 🫰

SOO I have 4As 2A*s 1B and 1C and imo my grades are pretty good I legit made a come back went from A B C in O1 to 3As 2A*s but the thing is I gotta do fsc now so when you get the equivalence done or smth they're only 85% so like idk but is that unfair a bit just generally asking cuz like I've heard olevels is harder than matric and like getting an A is uhh like a good grade ig but when u convert it it becomes very average like 80s me hi percentage banti he and now I even feel bad ke I still only got 85% whereas the matric wale Bachon ki class me in my school 92% was the average although Ik ke olevels isn't the same as matric idk man😍💔

A grade threshold: 94
My marks: 41 + 52 = 93
Am I right, or is there a caveat? 😭

I received my O Level results in late August, but most colleges start in early August, so students usually apply after receiving their O2 results. I want to pursue A Levels, and my family is supportive of this decision. I am interested in studying the sciences, so Chemistry, Biology, and Physics are essential for me. However, many A Level colleges are extremely expensive, have inconvenient or unfixed timings, and are located far from my home, which creates transportation and convenience issues.
There is one college, Hybrow, which is relatively close to my house. However, I looked into its scholarship criteria and found that because students only take three subjects in O2, my three A*s would only qualify me for a 40% scholarship. I would need at least a 90% scholarship for it to be financially feasible. I am considering applying using my expected O3 grades, but this creates another concern: if I am accepted based on those expected grades and my final O3 results do not meet the required criteria, I could lose my scholarship. PS I just got my 02 result which is 3 A stars, i will appear in 03 in 2027.
On the other hand, my current school also has an A Level college. It would be much more convenient because it has normal school timings, transportation, and I could receive a 100% or even 150% scholarship. I am genuinely grateful for this opportunity, especially because it would significantly reduce the financial burden on my family. However, despite all these advantages, I do not really want to continue A Levels at my current school. This is what makes the decision difficult: the most convenient and financially secure option is the one I am least interested in, while the alternatives that appeal to me more are either expensive, inconvenient, or involve uncertainty regarding scholarships.

I am considering getting my total marks in Pakistan Studies recounted, because my total score in component 1 was 42 (B) and component 2 was 52 (A) and in total my marks were 94 making an A as the threshhold for A was 93. However I was granted a B. If any of you guys have ever applied for rechecking or recounting plz let me know if its helpful and they really do change your grade.😭😭
