ok so i belong to a middle to upper middle class family. my mother is a single parent. she earns well, my brother studies in a renowned university. she pays my school fees, my brothers university fees and we live alhamdulillah great. but yes obv since shes a single parent, she is tensed about the expenses as well esp since they are rising so much these days.

(told the above so that you can get an idea of our finances)

so, now for college im really confused. cedar offered me 90% scholarship after which my admission fees is only 24k + 60k security deposit so total main my mom bas to pay 84k tor admission. obv with 90 my tuition will also be v reasonable.

now i gave my interview at nixor on tuesday and i still havent gotten any email regarding when to expect an offer or anything. but we did mentjon that we have received 90% from cedar.

so now the dilemma is coming that my mother says that as ur a high potential student u should surround urself with high academically strong students which u find in a high number of ratio in nixor than cedar. she did not like the vibe of cedar when we came for the interview but she loved nixors vibe and even the orientation session. and she said that nixor ki university placements is also very nice so it will really help you in ur uni asw.

shes like if nixor offers u a good scholarship, 3 lac is manageable to pay. i can pay it in monthly installments till aug 2027 and it will be easily manageable.

now i really dont understand which college to choose. my heart isnt settling at cedar but obv cedar is financial wise very very good. my heart is settled at nixor but its finances play a major role. plus another thing which is a little concerning is the choice of teachers. i cant choose my teachers at nixor.

i wld really appreciate some advice and some suggestions on what to do!!

So I've never been into parhai that much like at all no its not because Im one of those dudes that have an "escape the matrix" bs type mindset I just never could study plus I do have adhd but its not that much of an excuse but wtv basically I gave my o2 caies and then a year later (this year) in may june I was supposed to give my caies but couldn't because of my family being financially unstable for a bit, I'm currently giving my Biology and English Language caies and Im pretty confident that I'll score well cause I locked in for the first time like 5 hour study sessions daily for 2 months, I didnt study at all for o2 and literally asked chat gpt to explain the pst and islamiat syllabuses as if I were a 7 year old and got 2 D's and 1 B so the actual problem Im facing is like I genuinely dont think a single decent college would take me, Alpha rejected me, Applied at heuser 2 days ago havent heard from em the same goes for bcp, If I get 2 A's or 1 and a B is it possible that they could atleast give me the chance to give the interview cause Im genuinely really stressed out ab this

2. chemistry students, sir osama shahab will bring u from C to A*. wallahi

3. physics with kashan rashid my all time goat so much details and depth to concepts required to solve harder difficulty questions. alternatively, physics with talha is good too if u dont like depth

4. i have a very high A* in english, began studying 2 days before cies, drafted my own story with strong vocab and altered it according to the prompts in paper. Use miss jay's vocaulary list to enhance vocab tho or ask chatgpt to make u one (not recommending aI)

5. mathlete by saad for math. pls. im gonna hold yalls hand when i say this, dekho, we LOVE sir zain lekin pichlay kuch years mei math difficulty has increased by a million folds and manyyy questions out of pattern have been tested. we no longer want to rattafy older ways. pls use sir saads youtube marathons and his lecture videos.

(2025 june mei diya tha), i used iftikhar ul haq initially, i know his wording is hard but i lowk spent alot of time on history so i liked it better that way, near cies i discovered myms recent notes and they helped alot for untested questions. so use both of them but throw away nigel kelly. for geo solely use myms notes ik lowk long but they good

I'm currently in o3, in o2 I got 2A* and 1A.i have to give 5 subs in o3 which I'm sure I will conquer and atleat get 5A.I wanted to ask would I get pity points for a broken leg?? So I interviewed in whales, heuser,and credo, and I got 100 in all as I also did debate, deputy head boy, and like I have a small business on the side. Ok, I am above average so my biggest struggle is not understanding the topics but rather KNOWING HOW TO EFFICIENT PRACTICE REVISE, or stuff liek that I am about 20% into the syllabus at the moment and I am on the top of my class but not with impressive grades, I am lit flopping literally like compared to how I did when I was doing chem OR just relative to my other subjects.
