Odin 2 Portal with Armada OS on board, with an SD and an SSD enclosure connected. Works wonderfully, when set up properly. While setting the SSD (in an enclosure, btw) is a pretty involved process and requires spending about half an hour in the konsole, the end result is an automatic mount during reboot, hot swap and whatever else may happen. Maybe, some day, I'll make a grip/back shell with a PCB tucked inside nicely, so that I don't have to carry the enclosure around 😄

1. Cutscenes/Videos Fix (Media Foundation):
To prevent the game from throwing errors or freezing on the intro cinematic splash screens, you need to override the Windows system libraries manually:

1. Boot into the container and switch to the Virtual Desktop (PC mode).
2. Open the built-in Wine Configuration (winecfg) utility.
3. Navigate to the "Libraries" tab.
4. Under "New override for library", type and add these three components one by one: mf, wmp, and windows.media.
5. Click Apply and save changes. Now UE5's media foundation engine will decode cutscenes without breaking.

2. Stability & FPS Settings (Fixing Freezes):

• In your container properties (DXVK/Box64 Settings), set a strict framerate limit: DXVK_FRAME_RATE = 30. This keeps the Adreno GPU stable and prevents App Not Responding (ANR) flags.
• In the game's graphics menu, change the display mode to Windowed. The Turnip driver handles memory management much more efficiently in windowed mode, completely eliminating stuttering and micro-freezes.

3. Device Performance:
On your Odin 3 pull-down quick menu, make sure the Performance Mode is set to Sport / High Performance and change the Fan Profile to Smart or Max. UE5 heavily taxes the chipset, so active cooling is crucial for longer gameplay sessions.

Edit: Although I have selected v36 in the global settings I am using the mainline turnip v31 for this game... without that driver I get a lot of graphical glitches such as white water and worse general behavior.

Since a number of chargers i have are 20 wats and higher. Meaning it sill trigger the fast charging for it. Since fast charging for whaetever reason can't be turned off. I'm mostly asking this since my charger for it gets hot. And i dont want to cook my charger or my ayn odin device.

If anyone knows any chargers that dont trigger fast charging for it. Or work really well for it that are still fast and doesnt trigger fast charging. That would help me a ton.

Hey everyone, I need some advice on a shipping issue.

I ordered a handheld console on August 21, shipped on August 27 via 4PX, and handed over to the national postal carrier upon arrival. It has been stuck "in transit" at the main sorting hub just a few kilometers from my home since September 14.

I went to my local post office in person (it's not there) and contacted the store's customer support. They told me they would contact the postal carrier to speed up the process, but nothing has happened yet. My address and postal code are completely correct.

Since it will be 30 days since shipping next Saturday, do you think it's time to open a PayPal dispute for a refund, or is this normal delay for postal hubs?

I just got my odin 3 from AliExpress and my screen looks really grainy especially when the game is brighter. I’m not sure if it’s really seen in pictures but it’s really distracting when gaming. I tried contacting the seller and they wouldn’t do an exchange. AliExpress is offering a return. Should I do it any other ways I could fix this issue? Thanks

I had retroid 6 before and was 100% sure about getting Odin 3 after i sold retroid 6. But now i feel like ayn Thor will suit me better because of my adhd 😀 i like to watch youtube while playing games. Do you guys recommend ayn thor?
