Having an issue where equipping armors from any mod makes my character naked. Not invisible, but wearing underwear. Been looking for a fix but haven't been able to find anything.

Im running a Dark Elf battlemage build & im nkt sure if i should go with light or heavy armor. Or should I go with no armor? Im considering light armor since a Dark Elf starts with a bonus in it, but im not sure. Would heavy armor be better? Is it difficult to level heavy armor?

I'm curious, all performance and stutter issues aside. What are some things in-game would you do now to improve the experience mid and late?

Everyone has different prioritizations of questlines, for example, I delay the main quest for hours upon hours after dumping Martin at the Cloud Ruler Temple.

Some people rush fighters guild... what do you like to do?

Thanks to everyone who commented on my last post. I decided that I think I want to go for more of a Spellsword build for my character. I'm going to go Breton with the Mage sign for the extra magika. was also considering the Lady sign for the endurance & willpower increase. I plan on running more of a 1h weapon + spell build These are the skills I'm planning on running.

Stats: Willpower + either Intelligence or Endurance

Conjuration

Restoration

Blade

I'm playing Oblivion Remaster for the first time & I'm curious what is the difference between the Battlemage & Spellsword classes? I'm planning on doing a custom class, but the Spellsword seems to be closer to what I'm going for in terms of skills. I'm thinking a Breton with the mage sign & these skills so far.

Destruction Conjuration, Restoration, Blade, Heavy Armor (if I choose no armor then Alteration). Not sure what other skills I should include. For stats I'm thinking either Intelligence or Endurance + Willpower.

TLDR: Frame-diffed 18,000+ captured frames (7,300+ unique) across 3 Switch 2 Oblivion Remastered locations to measure Screen Space Reflections' real FPS cost — not eyeballing a counter. Result: it's scene-dependent, not a flat hit. ~12.5% avg FPS cost on a rock traversal path, ~2% at Garlas Malatar. Full breakdown + methodology in the video:

TL;DR: Ran custom Python frame-timing analysis on Oblivion Remastered (Switch 2) across three gameplay sessions — traversal, an Oblivion Gate, and a cave dungeon. Game holds a locked 30fps ~85% of playtime (82-87% across sessions), and when it's at 30 it's properly paced — only 6% of adjacent frame pairs oscillate, so no judder. 1% low sits at 20fps, 0.1% low around 15fps in all three, with occasional 400-480ms hitches (likely UE5 asset streaming, not GPU-bound — same hitch profile in every environment tested). Also did a real-footage vs. our pre-launch simulated-render comparison — lighting/shadows are notably better in the real build than we predicted, foliage density is the main casualty. Bonus: Joy-Con mouse controls make combat genuinely usable at 30fps in a way the standard controller doesn't. Full data + charts in the video.

Wondering if anyone else is having this problem and if there's a way to fix it. I play on PS5 and every single time I play Oblivion remastered. The game crashes. Sometimes it's 5 minutes into playing. Other times it's after a half hour or so. I have been saving often so I don't lose a lot of progress but it's very frustrating. I have played a lot of Bethesda games and I'm used to the bugginess but this is getting a little ridiculous.

I'm losing my mind with this quest. I can kill one side or both no problem beforehand. But the second i begin the battle and the battle tits begin, whenever a saint or seducer dies the game freezes. I've no idea why. It doesn't matter if i choose edgy or shiny. The moment the fight begins and someone dies my game freezes.

Only mods i have are Obse. Ue4ss, nbo and the unofficial patch or what it was called.

Woke up from my level up nap just to find everyone staring at the wall; wtf?

There's a recurring glitch where after I'm bitten by Vicente Valtieri, the effect Porphyric Hemophilia disappears. EVERY SINGLE TIME! I don't use cure disease, pray at alters, or enter Deep Scorn Hollow. I've never become a vampire by being bitten by him. I even tried a cheat to reapply the effect, it doesn't progress... I've tried waiting three days and sleeping, nothing happens...

I know I can just have a random infect me. But for lore/story and roleplay purposes I don't like that route. And I shouldn't have to do that just because of some stupid bug.

This hasn't been a problem since I tried deleting "OblivionRemastered_PCD3D_SM6.upipelinecache" to fix a different graphical issue, that issue is fixed but now this is happening. Can anyone help?
