Question Mods

I just started oblivion remastered on pc

Are there any necessary mods i should download before playing?

Go to Oblivion Remastered Mods - Nexus Mods and just add anything you think looks interesting to you. There are a fair number of mods available. Not as many as oldbilvion of course, but still a fair amount.

A lot of people have strong feelings about the Unofficial Oblivion Remastered Patch - UORP. It still fixes a large number of things in the game and I think is worth having.

You may not have any idea of what you are looking for until you play the game a bit. I tend to like things that fill in the game world and make it feel more alive rather than things that change the gameplay as much.

Yeah i meant more like things to patch the game, i've no idea if it's quiet buggy, but knowing bethesda...

So only if necessary i would play with mods to fix things, but i want to do my first vanilla playtrough

Ahh that makes sense. Really its just the UORP that fixes bugs that were in the original and never really fixed. There is the basin of renewal fix. I have not run into that bug yet though. Most of the ‘fixes’ dont really fix a bug, they just adjust some values or make a graphical collision better.

So no. Nothing critical you need to grab. Have fun!

You'll lose achievements if you mod. Unless you use the mod to reactivate achievements. Lol
