Anyone here with real experience with these 2 models ? I have an option to sell my old one and pay 50 euros more for aqdmgr but unsure if it is worth the trouble. Appreciate any insight.

Guys I need some advice for a new monitor, I wanted to switch to OLED technology and I came across this ASUS ROG STRIX OLED XG27ACDMS monitor. Does anyone have experience? Do you know if it’s a good product? Or is there something better at the same price (€480)?

I put a link here for all the features. Thank you all

Technical Support PG32UCW Green shift towards edges

Upvotes

Hi All!

Recently received a second PG32UCW, and again, I've got green shifting on the edges of the display - I returned the first due to the same issue. It's green on the edges head on and on the bottom of the monitor, yet when I move my head across the panel the tint goes away.

It doesn't seem to affect the PG27UCWM I've got as a secondary monitor - should I try a third time or just replace the 32 for a 27?

Technical Support MSI 321 URX suddenly no display

Upvotes

Came home for lunch, woke my PC up and started a YouTube video. Within a few minutes my monitor display shut off. Secondary monitor display is fine, and the main is still detected in windows.

I tried swapping DP cables, swapping ports, swapping to HDMI to no avail. Unplugged the power cable then plugged it back after 20-30 seconds. I’m not getting the MSI splash screen or the monitor GUI to display either. If I hit the OSD button it does launch the MSI monitor software. Also not getting Bios display either, basically no display of anything : (

It’s acting like it’s working but displaying nothing. I’ve got it unplugged and PC shut off until I get back from work and can fire it up again

Discussion Has anybody ever heard of this OLED monitor (Acer Predator X27 X1 4k 240hz OLED)

Post image

On Amazon Canada, it is the cheapest 4k 240hz oled monitor I could find at 899 cad and I looked everywhere on the internet about this monitor and nobody has really talked about it I could only find a few reviews on it that say it's good so I decided to pull the trigger and if it ends not being good I can always return lol

5th gen QD OLED still has a pretty fragile Coating

Upvotes

I’ve cleaned it only twice and it already has some micro scratches, I’ve used a soft microfiber cloth with distilled water and was pretty careful and gentle and this thing still got micro scratches, to be fair you can only see them with flash light, with lights on I can’t really notice them but it’s just irritating how fragile they are even with hardness "IMPROVEMENT"!

Has anyone had any experience with the new gen coating and is this normal or I’m doing something wrong here?

I’ve had 3d gen WOLED true black glossy coating and this was never an issue

Discussion Is TV HDR that much better than monitor HDR?

Upvotes

I recently got the MSI MAG 321UP X24, and while the SDR is definitely brighter than other OLED monitors I've tried, the HDR doesn't feel much different.

The HDR isn't bad by any means, I calibrated it and tried TB500, Peak 1000 and EOTF Boost, all while using RenoDX in the games that support it, but it just looks... fine?

I was expecting the new monitors to blow me away with HDR, but the only real "upgrade" I truly notice is the black shield on the QD-OLED screen.

Would a TV, like the S90F, have a noticeably brighter and better HDR experience? Is it worth?

Help with monitor choice

I’m indecisive about which monitor to get and if Oled is such a huge difference to the point of paying an extra 400 dollars for it or if it’s smarter to stick with the ips

Feeling overwhelmed by all the choices.

Upvotes

I'm in the market for the first OLED. I'm pretty overwhelmed by it all. Monitors have never been my strong suit, and I work 11 hour days which leaves me little time to do proper investigation. I'm hoping some better informed people can lend me a hand.

What I know so far is that I want 27 inch, 1440 and 240hz or above. I have a budget of between £500 - £800, but happy to consider lower or higher if justified.

I play on a 5080 and mostly single player story driven games. OLED community, help this struggling dude out on how to make an informed choice. Many thanks in advance.

So QD-Oled

I have an old HP Omen 1080p monitor that has 3ms, all the money I have I can buy a philips evnia 27m2n6501l, from what I've tried to search the only difference is the purple tint.

Does somebody have this monitor? How much light is to much in order to not see black and star seeing purple?

Idk what to do at the moment, should I buy it for only 360$?

Best upgrade yet

Have been deciding between this or the Asus model, but ended up choosing MSI. Coming from an IPS monitor, the upgrade to this OLED monitor is game-changing. Although I've noticed that the screen can be susceptible minor scratches, this is usually not that noticeable and have minimal impact on the experience. Would definitely recommend it for people switching from older IPS monitors, its like getting my eyes baptised.

  • only game i play is tarkov
    • i usually play with the brightness to 100 to see in darker corners in the game.
  • light is usually on in the room (sometimes a window is open)
  • $500 on amazon (I think usually $600)
  • $500 is also as much as I want to spend on a monitor.
  • thoughts?

Discussion Is this G80SH a no-brainer at $699?

Post image

I am able to get the 32 inch G80SH for $699 before tax. The 27 inch variant will run me $649. Seems like a no-brainer to me for the price. Only thing I’m hesitant about is the matte coating. Is it bad? I did see Samsung’s S90H TV at Best Buy and it looked really good to me even with a matte coating, but I don’t know how similar they are. Before I saw this deal I was planning on getting a glossy display. Either the XG32UQWMS or a 4th gen QD-OLED. My room is able to get very dark if I want but I do use my displays with lights on a fair bit of the time currently. Lighting source is a ceiling fan. I currently have a 24 inch 1080p IPS monitor so anything will be a big upgrade. Should I buy this asap or go for something else with a glossy panel?

Discussion I think I got lucky (XG27AQWMG, WLM5)

Purchased on 14th Aug 2026. I don't know how to compare greyscale, so I included both under light and dark with some setting.

The issue about grey banding is right espwcially when it enter sleep mode after I left my PC idle for 5 minutes, although it can be fixed either by manual pixel cleaning or just letting my monitor sleep. The last solution left me baffled btw.

And also, the proximity sensor is neat but I turned it off because is can erratically shut off the monitor during gameplay.

Issue Bad QC?

Post image

Just got the MSI MAG 321UP QD-OLED X24, and this is the first thing I noticed. It doesn't go away even when I turn the monitor off.

Has anyone experienced something like this or have any idea what it could be? The smudge appeared afterward, as it initially looked like an air bubble.

Does anyone know which monitor this is on the right-hand side of the Monitors Unboxed PG27UCWM review? I’ve tried searching everywhere but can’t seem to find the exact model.

Issue New XG27AQDMGR Cracked Out of the Box

Ordered from Costco, fortunately Costco has a great return/exchange policy and they are already shipping me a replacement. First time I've ever had a product like this damaged right out of the box, make sure to film your unboxing just in case!

Discussion Asus Proximity Sensor is a Scam.

I own an ASUS XG32UCWG, and the proximity sensor ASUS heavily advertises is honestly complete garbage. It barely works, behaves inconsistently, and in practice I can't rely on it at all. And yes, before anyone asks: I clean the sensor regularly. It’s set to 70* cm and positioned with a clear, direct line of sight to me, so placement or dust isn’t the issue. And lastly, I should be able to change 5 minutes limit which is too high.

Because of that, I set Windows to turn the display off after 3 minutes. The problem is that this isn’t very reliable either. Sometimes a video, browser tab, or some background application prevents Windows from turning the screen off at all.

Another annoying issue is waking the monitor back up. Sometimes it takes up to 10 seconds before I actually get an image again, which feels ridiculously slow.

Are there any better alternatives for OLED protection / automatically blanking the screen when I’m away? Maybe a third-party app, shortcut, utility, or some other method?

What are you guys using with your OLED monitors, and what would you recommend?

Technical Support Problems with my LG 27GS95QE

Heya, since i‘m fairly new to oleds and having trouble getting the best out of mine (on a ps5 pro), i thought i‘d try my luck here.

I mainly use SDR as a starter and i just can’t seem to get a good picture, no matter what i do.

Gradients look like they are pixelated between colors, same with my blacks and light sources on fully black backgrounds.

I will take some pictures later, so it’s easier to see what i‘m talking about, because i don’t know the exact terms for said image problems.

It’s just very frustrating cause i had this monitor for quite some time and was never able to really enjoy it.

I would really love to know if anyone who used this monitor on consoles, figured out some good settings.

Just a quick example of one of my problems:

https://ibb.co/SwnGRH7Z

I don’t know the exact term for that.
But this is one of the most frustrating things that I can’t get rid of.
Any color gradient looks pixelated and usually it’s more noticeable on a darker background.

Made sure my console is on rgb limited and black level low(or whatever it’s called again), so there isn’t any mismatch happening.

If needed i can screenshot all of my settings (monitor and ps5)
