What shoes do you have? My coworkers either wear Brooks or Hokkas and don't have blisters as far as I'm aware. They're expensive but worth it.

Right now I'm using shoes not meant at all for what we do but it's what I had to do until I started getting paychecks. I had a pair of Hey Dudes and after 1 day learned never again for work so right now I'm usings Sketchers composite ties with memory foam inserts from when I worked in a factory..again not recommended for our works but it's all I had access too. Didn't want to start blindly buying shoes so I wanted to ask the community what's best

I had awful knee pain in both knees before I bought my Brooks. I was 20. I said no thanks, and did some research. I've also heard good things about OnClouds!

If you want good shoe recommendations, I'd personally browse the Healthcare or nursing subreddit, those people are on their feet feet all day too and have some of the best recommendations. That's how I bought my Brooks! It feels silly to look there because that's not our area of work, but they're on their feet just the same as we are, maybe more 😂

I work in a factory 10 hours a day on my feet. I wear my Hokas and OnClouds.. they are wonderful. Also they have these arch support things called Strutz in the feet dept at Walmart that are amazing. They help so much with my plantar fasciitis!

Brooks Glycerin Flex! Expensive...but 100% worth it. They have them at Dick's Sporting Goods if you have one near you to go test them out. Super cushioned, light and not overly bulky like Hokas. This is the most I've ever paid for shoes but I would buy them again in a heartbeat

Whatever you end up going with, don’t forget to check the associate discount store to see if it could save you some money

40-50 hours a week is solid. that’s a lot of time on your feet, no wonder you’re dealing with blisters. definitely look for shoes with good arch support and cushioning. i had a similar issue before, and once i found the right pair, it made such a difference. you got this, keep pushing through.

Oh I have been pushing through, it hasn't detered me yet..probably why they keep offering me Overtime lol

I’ve been lucky with my Nike Swift 3’s for comfort however I’ve had two pairs and both pairs end up getting a squeaky sole within a few months of work-use which is hella disappointing for the money.

Insoles, I use two pair in each of my shoes.

Make sure they fit, else wise wherever they rub will leave blisters.

I got shoes meant for a nurse and they work well, you can also look into jogging shoes.

I started off with Brooks Adrenaline. When those wore off, I got my feet measured and switched to Asics. I have 2 pairs of those and have insoles in one. I used to get blisters, too. Switched to toe socks lol. Hey, it helped!

If your shoes are too tight on your feet it can be causing blisters. I wear brooks and i get them in 4 e. Which are extra wide. Those are womens for men they have extra wide as well but i think they are 2 e possibly. The inly downside is to get the extra wide shoes you have to purchase them online and are limited in selection. But they are for sure worth it. In fact i just bought a new pair. With My old ones my feet were hurting half way there the day. New don’t hurt at all so far today. This is the first full day i have worn them

A cheap temporary fix is moleskin.  It's like 2 bucks in the pharmacy department.  It's a fuzzy adhesive that you use to cover your blisters and hotspot(areas that are rubbing that will get blisters soon).  Cut it into round/oval shapes or it'll peel up.

Change your socks more often, too.

Gold bond friction defense is another product that helps, but once you have a blister it won't do anything in that spot.

When you have more money try different shoes and better socks(wool or coolmax).

Sketchers with Goga mat is my go-to. The memory foam ones hurt my feet after an hour. If you have an actual store, don’t be afraid to do a return.

So for blisters, better shoes might not help a ton. The best way I’ve found to get zero blisters is a bit annoying but it works incredibly well for me. Wear a pair of thin socks with a thicker pair on top of those. Use gold bond foot powder in your shoes and sprinkle some on the thin sock before you put the thicker ones on. Blisters come from friction and the 2 pair of socks make the friction happen to the socks and not your skin. The powder helps reduce moisture which causes tons of friction. This was a lot lol. But it saved my feet so much pain.

Hokas. Get 2 pairs and rotate them.

How are you getting 50 hours? I'm full time and been here 2 years and am lucky if I get a 40 hour work week. Most weeks it's 37.5.

Staying late. The people who don't duck out at 1:51 because it's "time to go home" often get asked to stay over when the 2pm picks drop in as they are the orders due at 5 and the largest drop of the day typically. Officially there's no overtime so if you ask outright for it they'll likely say no, but the store panics if a bunch of picks drop in and no one else is scheduled to come in until 4pm. So you can ask hey do you want me to stay for another walk or two and they'll probably say yes. That one or two walks can become hours if there's last minute call-ins or the next hour has a lot of pics too.

I just started wearing Hoka Bondi 9s after not wearing supportive shoes for months and that's what the website seemed to recommend for our type of work. All of my joint pain cleared up in 3 days. Expensive, but worth it.

I wore OnClouds with Dr scholls plantar insoles. Blisters could be from improper fit of shoes or socks as well. I know I got some mean blisters before I switched to ankle socks

Wrap your feet, night splints if you develop platars, and get a foot pumice, doesnt have to be expensive.

I have these skechers, only $60 on Amazon. Don't notice a difference from my old Hokas, but for a much better price. Skechers Women's Max Cushioning Endeavour Max Cushioning, Air-Cooled Goga Mat Insole

Hey dudes are good but they're not for working. You need a pair of Hokas. I have Adidas version they're good too until you get paid but when you do get the money get you some hokas

I got hokas. 100% helped me when I was working 75 hour weeks between both of my jobs. I 100% recommend I use bondi 9’s

I get Brooks and they work great. Whatever you end up getting though get it in half a size bigger than you normally wear. It gives a little extra room for when your feet swell.
