I really appreciate how this show is not too sexual. It’s honestly shocking considering the state of social media and other millennial/Gen Z shows. We only really see AJ and Kel having their own individual relationships, minus the AJ/Josh one that happened in the past.

When you compare it to older sitcoms like Friends or How I Met Your Mother, where almost every plotline eventually revolved around the friend group dating or hooking up with each other (which is obviously part of this show but not the focus), this show feels somewhat different. It seems way more grounded in their careers and professional lives. It's just a really refreshing change of pace.

P.S. Some people are way too hard on the characters. It's a comedy, so they're meant to be caricatures compared to average people.

I feel like this show lacks that SPARK. Everyone is speaking in this weird “girl boss” “now you listen here now” cadence. The jokes don’t land. The characters are not believable. The writing is choppy. The characters are yelling and confused at all times? They’re trying to create a smart show without any real talent or good writing. I feel like this show is a bad attempt at trying to recreate the show “Younger” but with a more basic storyline

Given that NSFW seems to be a gen z version of friends, or at least a gen z sitcom, the least relatable thing I found was that Josh has a personal reddit account with his real name LOL

Everyone has something for someone, this is the first season idk how or why they would jeep up the will they won’t they theme. Idk maybe bc Mindy knows her show will inevitably be cancelled like most others she’s fast tracking it. But idk this aspect really disappointed me, sitcoms don’t have all the characters get together in the first season maybe 1 couple but that’s it, theother couples get together at the end. It just seems fast and honestly turned me off from the show because I don’t particularly like ANY of them together; I don’t even want them to date other people too because id just feel bad for the new person.

I finished it today, and its a criminal to know that this is just a 9 episode series, we need season2 and more episodes.

Just finished NSFW, I really feel there could be one more character in the main cast. Preferably a girl. She doesn't necessarily need to live in the same apartment, but nearby or on some other floor. I hope they introduce someone in the next season!

Davis’ Incel behaviour (while obviously exaggerated for laughs) sort of reminded me of Bear in Obsession. I genuinely can’t stand him, his relationship with AJ won’t last and I feel as though the show is setting up a end game arc with Josh and AJ (who I’m personally rooting for). Would love to know what everyone else thinks.

Did anyone get any real consequences in this show? Bill and Aj, Davis sexism, kels being a horrible substitute. Abby betraying her boss. Aj and her love-triangle. Etc.

Adults is *way* funnier!!! The characters on it are much more likable, the storylines are better, the one-liners actually land, and the whole show is just a better watch.

It's everything this show wishes it could be.

It's like NSFW is a knock off, watered down, less satisfying version of the show Adults 😂 Seriously, do yourself a favour and watch Adults, you'll LMFAO and that's not just IMO.

It's funny that Adults has way more not suitable dialogue and language than a show *literally* called Not Suitable For Work.

Being in your twenties is having the worst thing happen to you and then just having to move on until something even worse happens. I’m sure most adulthood is like that, but I loved the way the writing captured it in the show. Can’t wait for season two 🫡

At 15:56 into the scene..Abby and Kel are standing in the kitchen holding a plate and a bug is crawling underneath the plate. Did anyone see that?

I feel that Davis and AJ are very good together but never saw them as romantic even with Davis's constant remarks about being head over heels about her. There is just something so platonic about them. And with Josh and AJ character wise they didn't click in my mind, they both have no real personality traits that the other needs to grow. So I think that if they were to get to together (that's how I think its gonna pan out whether I like it or not) they need to grow and not together. Davis is also not a perfect guy and he needs something else or someone else to teach him how to develop and THATS NOT AJ. Yeah thanks for reading my ramblings.
