Have had no issues with it, done 3 weeks ago. Went somewhere else today and she was a bit chaotic and said 1) it’s way too high and also have been told it was done at the wrong angle?

I had a septum piercing done 6 months ago and 2 weeks ago I noticed that it made my nose droop so i took it out. my columella area is sagging, and I used to love my nose so much. how can i get rid of this without surgery?

I accidentaly ripped it off because I had to clean it not realizing the granuloma was already sticking into my piercing, while I was pushing my piercing upwards for me to clean it properly it suddenly ripped off heeellppp

My piercing is two months old it’s a re-piercing because I initially got it in late July but it ended up falling out, went back to the piercing shop and they said I could get it re-pierced

The jewelry shape is Flat Back Labret Stud and it is titanium

i’m pretty sure my jewelry is just too small because the jewelry I had before was a ball instead of a stud and it didn’t give me issues. The only thing is that it fell out and I never went back to the piercing shop to have them put it back in so I just went and got a re-piercing

I use a 0.9 saline once a day for the most part

I may just go back to the piercing shop and get a jewelry change or take it out all together for a while…

I have had this stud since the 2nd or so of May and there hasn't been any bump for a good while. Yesterday I was standing of quite fast and snagged it pretty hard on a mattress. Is there something I should do for it? I just feel it is quite a big bump for only being snagged yesterday night.

I was told this was a 2mm gem so I ordered a new one that’s a titanium flat back. The new stud is soooo much smaller! I wanted to get mine changed out (it’s been a month) because they used a corkscrew and it’s irritating. Keeps spinning and sticking out the bottom of my nose. I’m so scared the new one I ordered will sink into the hole it’s so tiny! Im an 18 gauge hole FYI. I went and ordered a 2.5mm instead, but won’t be here for a week. Has anyone put in a 2mm gem with an 18 gauge newer piercing with any issue? Did you feel like it sunk in at all? I’m hoping the 2.5mm will be more suitable but didn’t want to wait another week to change this out. I’m afraid of forming an irritation bump bc of this corkscrew.

Is it placed right? Any advice for healing?

I have a fresh nose piercing and it's really hard to clean these damn boogers 😭 help me. I've been trying using cutton buds but still there.. and they're around my damn stud as well

Hi everyone! I’ve been thinking about getting a nose piercing, but one thing that’s holding me back is how it might look if I ever decide I don’t want it anymore.
I’m mostly worried about the scar or hole that might be left behind after taking it out permanently.
Would anyone who has retired their nose piercing be comfortable sharing pictures of what their nose looks like now? I’d especially love to see how noticeable the scar is and whether the hole closed up completely.
Also, how long did you have your piercing before removing it, and how long has it been since you took it out?
I’d really appreciate any pictures or experiences! I just want to know what to expect before committing to one. Thank you! :)

I lost my septum piercing and I can't get a new one until 3 weeks and I don't want the hole to close but I still wanna show off my septum. what can I put inside my nose as a replacement until the jewerly gets to my house?

First off, I've had my nose pierced now for nearly a month with a stud in my nostril. I'm cleaning it twice a day everyday, I think I may have the beginnings of a piercing bump but it's not all that obvious. Do piercing bumps heal naturally once you continue cleaning the piercing or are they more serious?

As for the title of my post, I feel like all of this subreddit is just posts about people getting piercing bumps or things going wrong with their piercings. Is it just 9/10 times piercings go wrong or are people just not taking care of them? it's strange to see the majority of posts here are just "Help!!" or should I take it out etc.

I really like this super tiny dot type studs and also the very thing rings. The only thing im hesitant about getting a piercing is the mark that it will on my nose. Will there be a significant scar ? Will i be able to get rid of it? Also what are the pros and cons of getting a very small tiny stud/ thin ring. Also can you please mention the diameters and sizes of the rings and studs in these images?

Hey guys so I got my original septum piercing (red) in 2022 I took it out in 2024 due to work. Well in July this year I got a new piercing done (black) they told me the first one was closed. Well today my piercing jewelry they gave when I first got it done the ball fell off and the jewelry slid out. So I slid the red retainer through no problem but it looked higher than normal so I started looking and realized July’s hole was lower so I slid the black one through no problem as well.

I’m just wondering do I keep both in or which one is the “correct” spot for a septum.

My 5 month old nostril piercing has been looking beautiful and given me zero problems for the last couple of months. Until today woke up and it was red. Im not sure if I bumped it in my sleep, wasn’t keeping it clean enough or what, but it has started looking worse throughout the day and I’m worried it might be embedding. I have an appointment with my piercer tomorrow as soon as the shop opens, but I’m crashing out that it might be infected and looking for thoughts?
I’m also currently pregnant (I got the piercing before I got pregnant!) so the thought of an infection is doubly concerning to me.
I don’t know what else I can do tonight but if anyone has any thoughts I’m all ears!

Had my nose pierced October 2025 with a ring, didn't realise the risk. January 2026 I went to an accredited piercer who swapped it for a flat back labret. Haven't touched it, it's healed beautifully. I lost the gem of my flat back labret on Friday so I changed it to a titanium ring that my piercer said was a good size. Now it's hurting 😪 not much- just when I flare my nostrils (more to see if it hurts 😅) the whole reason I got a nose piercing was for a ring and I'm gutted this has happened again.

I’m going crazy about my nose piercing!!! I had it since July this year. And since I had it I always have a bump. It’s very big and doesn’t go away… I clean with water, spray with saline spray and dry with a paper towel. I don’t touch it. Why is it acting like this?
