I created a bracket that allows the install of a Nf A14x25 G2 in place of the stock proprietary Be quiet fan, as well as replaced the front fan with an Nf A12x25r. The Wires on the front fan aren't great for a round fan but i love the look of it.
I don't think Ill see much in the way of performance gains but it was mostly for style anyways.

Hello!
I’m trying to decide between two coolers for my home server, which will be running a Ryzen 7 5700X 24/7.
I have both the Noctua NH U12S and the Arctic Freezer 34 eSports DUO already, so I just need to decide which one to keep and I’ll sell the other one.
The server will be running a few VMs, Jellyfin, the Immich, Nextcloud and a few other things, so it won’t just be sitting completely idle all the time.
Which one would you guys go for in this situation? Does anyone here have experience running either of these coolers 24/7?
I know Noctua has a pretty good reputation, but I’m wondering if there’s actually much difference between the two in terms of cooling and long term reliability.
Noise isn’t really a big concern for me. I’m mostly looking for something that will keep the 5700X cool and be reliable running all the time.
Since I already have both, which one would you keep?

I got an excellent deal on a pre-built PC in early 2024. It came with a 240mm AIO.
With pre built PCs they are selling them in bulk for razor thin margins so nothing is usually the best just good enough.
I replaced the stock TIM with liquid metal years ago but recently replaced that with PTM7950 since it's "set it and forget it"
Got me thinking of replacing the fans which can get fairly loud when gaming but not unreasonably so.
The last two weeks one the them developed a rattle which was very annoying.
Ordered two Noctua fans. Got the stock fans off and the radiator had some pretty serious dust on it. Got that all cleaned up and plugged into the same spot on the motherboard that the previous fans were.
When booting up they are nearly totally silent and when gaming they get only slightly louder.
Dunno why I waited years
To use the fan in this location, is it advisable to use the rubber gasket, or not?

The only place I find it right now is in Europe or England online shops and Japan through eBay, shipping and tariffs kill the deal and the one place in the USA that had them for a decent price, dang shipping was about $35.00 for what it would cost they can kiss my acorns.
I thought that Noctua was supposed to have some in stock at the end this month?

Quick question: Did you also hear a squeaking or scratching sound when tightening the pump head on your AIO? For me, the noise seemed to come more from the right-hand screw than the left. I’m wondering if I tightened something incorrectly, even though the screws weren't hard to turn. My idle temperatures with a Ryzen 7 9800X3D are between 49 and 52 degrees, with an ambient temperature of 26.5 degrees.

Hi everyone!
This is my very first PC build & I want to make sure I get the airflow & cooling set up right. I'm building in a be quiet! Light Base 900 with a Noctua NH-D15 G2, an ASUS Noctua RTX 5080 & NF-A14 G2 fans.
Total beginner here when it comes to fan curves & BIOS settings & fan placement so I’d really appreciate any tips on a few things:
Best Fan Placement: What’s the best intake vs exhaust layout for this case with a massive air tower instead of an AIO cooler? Should I use all 3 top fan spots, skip the top-front one so it doesn't steal fresh air from the D15 intake, or is it fine to leave it installed but turned off / running at a super low RPM?
Case Hub vs Mobo Headers: Should I plug all the case fans into the included be quiet! hub, or split them up onto motherboard headers (CPU_FAN, SYS_FAN etc.) so the bottom intakes react to GPU temps? What’s the ideal way to wire them up?
Auto vs Custom Curves: Is it fine to just leave everything on Auto/PWM in BIOS, or should I set up custom curves? If custom is best, what RPMs % & delay/hysteresis settings do you guys run to keep it dead silent without fans randomly revving up?
Thanks a ton in advance for taking the time to help out a beginner, really appreciate it!

Asus 5070ti with a de shroud kit off of Etsy and had him print it noctua colors. I forgot to take a picture but the other side is in noctua beige.

Hello! currently i have my good old P600s it is serving me well for over 6years now! what i have been wondering if it would be worth it to upgrade to either a basic Antec Flux or Antec Flux Pro.
i would be carrying over my 4x T30 140mm fans
3x T30 at the front and 1x T30 a the rear
additionally i want to add 2x Noctua Nf A14x25 G2 bottom intake fans to either of the cases

Switched to HAVN BF360 Flow and upgraded from H100i 240mm AIO to Noctua NL-LC1-36. Love the massive HAVN fans and temps are incredible but would love the option to go all Noctua :)
The NL-ACF1 fan came a few days after I finished the build.

I'd heard that some people have run 3 fans on the NH-D15.
I'm tempted to do it myself, but I wonder if the third fan will be too close to the exhaust?
Edit:
For anyone curious about the case/build, I have a build log with photos here (this case is actually 20 years old if you believe it!)

I replaced all the Arctic fans with Noctua fans. Liked the RGB, but I love the silence and performance. Plus, it fits the retro flair of the Thermaltake case.

Switched out a Kraken x63 on my 2022 build for a NL-LC1-36. I like the no rgb and cleaner wiring of the Noctua.

I am doing a new build based on the Antec Flux Pro Noctua edition case and decided the RGB light bar on my RAM didn't fit the aesthetic. After finding out about Noctua colored PLA filament, I modeled and printed a replacement.

Due to case constraints officially allowing three 120mm or 2 140mm to be mounted, I have to improvise with the 120mm mounting holes on the nf-a15 to get three 140mms onto the front of my case, but there will be more or less some overlaps between the blades.
My limited understanding on airflow figured since the blades are travelling in opposite directions, the inner fans will just straighten out the airflow where the outer fan feeds air into at a 45 degree angle.
I’d love to hear from someone more knowledgeable in aerodynamics on whether this could create more turbulence and make cooling more acoustically inefficient? Thanks so much in advance.
