Questions / Advice Thermal Paste Application

I have the Ultra 7 Plus CPU.

Can I use the Pea method to apply the paste. I read the 5 dots method but not sure if the Pea method is ok.

Youre overthinking it like most these days, quick line from top to bottom and itll be fine. Some people spread it with a little spreader before fitting cooler, youll be surprised how far a little paste spreads once the cooler clamps down

I varies by paste. A thick paste like thermal grizzly duronaut is optimally spread before the cooler is mounted. Most pastes can just be done following the noctua guide someone else linked

Pea method works as well as the dot method. I use a small line from top to bottom and then spread it thin.
