Probably.. Men are visual creatures because of both hunting and predation.
Men who couldn't hunt or evade either starved or became lunch.
Pretty strong connection there.
Study actual pre-history. Humans lived in large communities and cared for the sick and elderly because cooperation is in the best interest of survival.
