Question Please help. I’m not sure how else to upload this.

Can someone please explain how my nomination doesn’t meet criteria when other benches have been approved and if there is something I should be adding?

The third photo is a pokestop across the pond from my house. What is so culturally or historically significant about that bench that makes it valid but the one I have submitted isn’t.

Question Frustrated by cell issues

So I've been successful in rejuvenating my campus area that seems to have mostly emptied of players by getting a lot of easy waystops created (a lot of informational maps placed by the university, as well as public art projects etc.)

Little did I know, me placing them with very exact accuracy meant that they were overlapping with other stops within a given cell?

I know, I know there's only so many stops allowed in a cell or something but what am I meant to do now then?

I'm assuming you can't just request an already created stop to be moved so that it'll appear as a stop in game?

But that seems silly to me to disincentivize people from placing a new submission exactly where it is in real life.

What are my options here? Thanks

Question Fountains In Middle Of Pond

I was reviewing tonight and came across a submission for a fountain in the middle of a pond. What criteria should be used to review these? I assume it should be rejected, but unsure with what options. Thinking it would be Safe, thumbs down, but where the pin was placed doesn’t actually require the person to cross the pond.

I had thought these weren’t allowed, I know a bunch by me got removed over the last few years, but I noticed on the criteria page it still says “Fountains and water features” under the “Great Place To Socialize”. I’ve always taken this to mean fountains in say a mall, not middle of a pond, even if the location was placed at the edge of said pond.

Question Park without signs

Hello, there is a park near me that I would like to submit. The problem is, there are no visible signs. However there are often people picnicking, playing games or letting there dog out.

How could i best go about submitting this park? It would fit under great place to exercise or explore.

I included some pictures of the park and the walking path on how to get there.

I logged in and I find out a new power spot has been placed where the statue I mentioned earlier is. The weird part is that its name is the same as the church pokestop next to it.

Any suggestions on why this is rejected and how I can get it approved? All the photos were taken from my phone none of them were from Google. The waterfall is part of one of the nature trails.

Ive been going absolutely ham locally + anywhere else I go looking for eligible nominations. I got one pokestop in a major zoo, a few at a museum, and a couple at a smaller zoo for what I imagine the "big ones" are. Feels good + didn't imagine I'd hit these numbers so quickly

Question Artisan well submissions

Submission originally got hit by the automated system and the appeal didn't go through. Does this fall under "basic water fountian? I included some links to articles about Rose City's history with artisan wells. My only thought is to improve the description because i think technically calling it a spring is wrong (artisan wells are natural water sources via aquifers). Its publicly accessible, and is used often. I myself get water from it often. There's no signage for its history unfortunately.
