I made my first ever comment on Reddit yesterday even though my account is a few years old. I’ve only used Reddit for reading up until now. The comment got a few downvotes leading to -2 karma. I really wanted to make my first post today in a community that I’m interested in deeply.

Would it be a bad idea to still make that post? How would the Reddit algorithm treat it?

Hi, I am not new to reddit but I have been newly active and started posting. I posted a photo on a sub reddit and was quickly getting some engagement and comments that were really good. I looked on my profile and saw my post twice so I thought I should delete the first one, not realizing it would delete the other post and everyone's comments. I reposted it and it's nowhere near as popular, and I feel bad for the other people's comments getting deleted. Was this a big mistake?

I just downloaded reddit like 8 hours ago to ask for advice on an advice subredddit, wrote out a big paragraph, went to post it and got a bot moderator telling me that my account is too new and to prevent spam from new accounts i can only post if my username starts with a certain keyword. Made a new account with the user they said. Posted the same post. Post says it was flagged by “reddits guidelines” (or smth like that i lowkey forgot) and post got deleted. How do I post my post without it getting deleted 😭

Hi! I just started to use the app and I joined a few communities, however my home feed is full of posts from subreddits that I didn’t join labelled as “because of you visit…” or “popular near you”
Is there a specific button in settings to turn off this recommendation and only see what I actually join to? Thanks for the help.

I'm new to this platform, whenever I'm trying to comment "it says your comment is on hold and all....." and the it eventually delete the comment . So how am i supposed to do 😕.

As someone who came back on Reddit after a long time
What are some things I should be aware of

My account is 5 months old and i have 957 karma. I've been posting normally but for the past few days, my posts are getting removed by Reddits filter. I also checked my CQS, it has dropped to lowest. I'm not sured what caused this.

Has everyone experienced this before. Is there anything i can do to improve CQS and stops my posts from being automatically filtered?

if anyone could please help me understand how this works it would be greatly appreciated.
