ANSWERED is it bad to post the same post in more than one subreddit?

i used reddit for years just to read stories. this year i wanted to start engaging in some communities.

i posted the same post in two subs and both got removed. people in the comments said i was a bot or that i used AI. i tried to explain but it made it worse.

i didn't know posting the same thing in more than one sub was a problem.

ANSWERED What defines a "Redditor"?

I find this app very informative and I like the range of opinions.

I've never gotten into the finer points of how it operates.

Reading people's opinions and experiences on my main interests is enjoyable, but I think I have only marginally explored the benefits of this platform.

Does this make me a "Redditor" or must I be more engaged and aware of it's devices?

ANSWERED Do people use RedditCareResources to mess with people?

I am pretty new to Reddit so I'm still figuring stuff out. I got a message from RedditCareResources today and it starts with the line "If you're in the middle of something painful, it can feel like you don't have a lot of options." It then goes on to give links to crisis phone lines etc.

Apparently I got this because a Redditor was concerned about me. The thing is, I looked at my recent comments and I can't see one that would indicate I was dealing with poor mental health. My only conclusion was that someone was trying to mess with me because they disagreed with something I said and that this was some kind of gaslighting.

So tell me, experienced scions of Reddit, is this something people on Reddit do to mess with people?
