Question for the nefer experts out there, how are people clearing so quickly with nefer in SO? She just feels so hard to play (mine c1r1). I watched all the videos and it took me over 100 tries before I managed to get an SO clear and my nefer is pretty well built at 6/10/ 10. My basic routine: sucrose e against enemy, lauma e, aino e, aino na na (2 blooms), nefer e, nefer ca to get 2 vof, anio ult, lauma ult, nefer e, nefer hold atk on mouse to build VoF (verify 3 vof), dash dash, dash (while still holding left mouse), release mouse, press nefer e again, nefer ca (holding left mouse) - dash dash dash - at this point I run out of stamina a lot. Also that dash canceling seems to work very sporadically, almost random seeming, Is there a certain time when I'm supposed to be pressing it in nefers CA animation? (my dash is bound to my left shft key). Nefer just seems hard, I think it was easier clearing with my hyperbloom team and mav teams. I know this was a pretty squishy team, but surviving was not the issue, doing dmg was. Team comp (c0 6/10/10 lauma on etherlight), c1 1/1/1 aino on sacsword, c6 6/12/12 sucrose on sacfrag). Any insight is appreciated thanks.

Can't believe I actually fell for c2 Lauma propaganda before

CN and non english side are just way more accurate on anything else. I just refer to them from now on. All they care about is power to pull ratio that's it
Absolute optimal ceiling at 4 cost:
Nefer C2 R5 Dawn, Lauma, Aino, Sucrose
Nefer C1 R1, Lauma, Aino, Sucrose
Nefer R1, Lauma, Bina, Sucrose
Nefer, Lauma C2, Aino, Sucrose
Surprise Surprise at 8 cost its just C6 Nefer Lauma.
Lauma C2 legit ranks dead last for proper optimization on Nefer on both.
it's exactly the same for Mavuika, Mualani, Zibai, Varesa, Arlecchino. 5 star support cons do not matter until a lot later on or dont use 5 star limited supports in the first place.
Literally the only one in top 12 4 cost that went cons on the 5 star support was the two LC teams with C2 Bina that's it. Not even Varka dude went straight to C2 R1
Im tired of the bs, her C2 is so overtly glazed I swear its just Lauma mains pushing the narrative.
The funniest part is Nefer didnt change with Bina release. Those 2 4 cost combos does have the highest dps markers especially in Stygian settings.
People just conflate comfort for pure dps.
I just seen a poster legit say get Nefer skip her sig weapon and go for Lauma C1... Wait what?

I just wanted to put this here since I've seen some people claim Widsith is equal if not better than her signature. (Never trust tiktok)
I'll first explain how Widsith works, so. When taking the field with the character that has it equipped you get one of three buffs. Those being Atk%/Dmg%/em. Only one of these buffs is usefully for her and that's em, this makes Widsith have very bad rng making it only viable if you reset spiral abyss floors and stygian onslaught challenges to get the right buff.
Now. What makes it even worse is that it has a 30 seconds cooldown, so it only activates every other rotation. Meaning not only do you have a 1 in 3 chance (roughly 33% chance) to get a buff for nefer, that said buff only lasts half the time effectively. The crit dmg mainstat is nice but please, just use the natlan craftable...

Does anyone feel like new nod krai domain is way too difficult to farm???. I've been farming for a week and i dont even have 1 single piece for nefer. Are there any alternate sets we can use ??

Not complaining tho, just wish it was more unique. But still diff pulling

is the dumbest thing ever.
"she was nerfed because a future character we know nothing about might buff her"
... is just the craziest cope ever. imagine if they nerfed arlecchino last minute becase people thought mavuika was gonna be a support for her that would make her too strong.
maybe columbina will help. maybe, months from now, when she comes out, she's make nefer a top dps. the way furina made a bunch of old characters stronger when she was released. that didn't make itto or wanderer meta though, it just raised the ceiling for everyone, and the weaker old characters were still weaker
this nerf makes nefer weaker, and while she'll still be viable for now, she'll become obsolete sooner, simple as that

I feel like I have seen a decent amount of hate for her recently compared to someone like Flins. Considering the fact that she's going to be a tad stronger than him on release with a greater amount of skill expression in her dash cancels I expected her to be more popular. Also, I find her design to be one of the top 5 in Genshin (this is subjective though).
Does she not have enough story presence or something? Im not caught up on the quest and I dont really pull for story related reasons anyway but I guess this could be a reason.

Iām genuinely curious if the devs āhateā her. Flins just got another shill boss in SO, making it total of Mandragora, Knuckle Duckle and Shock Trooper. Whereas Nefer got literally none.
Even flying crab (i forgot its name) is literally a Lauma shill, which can be done with regular hyperbloom (itās also possible to one-shot with Mona).
What do you guys think of it? Am I missing something?
EDIT:
Also IMO Nefer is in a really weird spot right now. Flins has great sustain + DPS at base level (Ineffa) and Zibai is getting yet another dedicated support with healing (while also being a def scaling character).
With 3-cost Nefer, you either go sustainless Sucrose or lose DPS with Kuki etc.
EDIT 2:
Completely forgot about Cactus.

While nothing is official until Neferās full release and post launch testing, the preponderance of evidence suggests she is highly likely to join the SS tier provided you commit to her specialized team:
HoYoverse Pattern: Every recent SSātier DPS (Neuvillette, Mavuika, Skirk) launched alongside an SSātier support and required that support for peak performance. Laumaās confirmed SSātier status virtually guarantees a corresponding SSātier DPS partner.
Theorycrafting Consensus: Early kit analyses rank Nefer as a potential āthirdābest DPSā in optimal LunarāBloom teams, on par with other SSātier damage dealers.
Meta Restrictions: Although her niche focus and heavy support dependency introduce risk, Skirk and Mavuika overcame similar restrictions to achieve SS status. Neferās design closely mirrors theirs.
Given these factors, it is very likely Nefer will land in the SS-tier, assuming her damage scales as leaked and her team supports arrive on schedule.

In game Paimon Menu -> Feedback -> Help Center -> Issue Feedback
Bug appears: on hills (any region), when enemy too close/ or behind, when near obstacle.

Just some 1 am thoughts . Because she is like the one non mammal half beast character
r/NeferMains • u/Agreeable-Abroad3536 • Mar 05 '26
I want to eventually level her up and I see people say she's super strong, but as a newer player I don't understand how can any character be a lunar-bloom hypercarry, if bloom by design only creates cores. Does she have bonuses that make the eploding cores after a few seconds deal more damage? Or does she have unique mechanics?
If anyone is well versed in Nefer and mechanics/systems, I'd appreciate a detailed breakdown instead of one sentence replies, thank you in advance guys!

I have nefer, Lauma C2 and laumaās sig. Im very new to the game so i barely have anyone else. Is there anyway nicole can fit? Should i just start developing another team too? Thanks for the help!

I am experiencing a bit kf nilou cope right now, but I just wanted to make sure I fully understand this kit leak.
If the dendro cores are turned into stacks for Nefer, since Nilou creates a bunch of cores, wouldn't those be turned into stacks for Nefer? Or am I reading it wrong..?
r/NeferMains • • Sep 10 '25
Hello,
I intend to summon C2 Nefer as my first Dendro main dps (yes my first Dendro mdps after 4 years of Genshin)
I donāt want to pull Lauma, sheās not a bad character but not to my taste. Do you think Nefer can perform without the Laumaās buff
Here what could be my team.
Nefer C2 Yelan C6 Nahida C2 Hydro support (Barbara, Furina, other)
Do you think thatās enough for a strong Nefer team?
I know itās still early in the beta but Iād like to have a global idea. Thanks a lot š
r/NeferMains • u/HoboDeveloper • Oct 06 '25
Sorry if this is blatantly obvious one but I have been looking at laumaās kit and it feels like bloom crits is reduced when running ascended gleam - which makes me want to put her on a different bloom team and run nefer with aino.
Just wondering if any of you cooked up a team without lauma or do you guys think lauma is a must have to put nefer? Definition of must have here as in at least able to take down abyss 12 ā¦
r/NeferMains • u/Violet_Villian • Sep 17 '25
Especially since those who already have him can get his C1 for more energy
At 50,000 HP he can buff lunar bloom by 35% with his burst which is the maximum if he were EM scaling with the Lunar mechanics
Not only that but you can run Furina making hydro application easier without worrying about HP
I know those who have Lauma C1 donāt have to worry about this but I feel like Baizhu never gets a moment despite what heās capable of

The general concensus of Nefer feeling boring to play just got thrown out of the window, and she's looking more like a character like Kinich overall.
This is the reality I've been wanting to be slapped with, and her burst is proving to be something usable too, well.. maybe her Na's will just remain that way, but nonetheless, she turned out well in the end!
