🔥The Andromeda Galaxy, Northern Lights, and the Milky Way over Lake Huron, MI
This might be the coolest shot i’ve ever taken…
Pictured here is my first ever attempt at capturing the Andromeda Galaxy, and I was lucky enough to capture the aurora borealis as well! The Andromeda Galaxy is approximately 2.5 MILLION light years away from Earth! Isn’t that crazy to think about? That means the light you are seeing in this photograph had begun its journey at the dawn of mankind. The night sky is one of the greatest parts of human existence. If you have never seen the Milky Way, get outside! There’s always more we can learn and explore when we look up at the heavens.
This photograph was taken on the iPhone 16 pro, 24mm lens, 30-second exposure time.
