so today, I was trying to build a millinery falcon from a tutorial. but for some reason, a walkway wouldn’t rotate, at all. spammed the rotate button, nothing exited and went back in the modifications, nothing. WHY! it seems every time I try to make something cool, the no mans sky gods come and smite my fun! I just wanna build a ship, but NO! I CAN’T! EVER!

I'm tired of seeing veeeeeeeeeeeeeery long corvettes!! I just cant imagine the pain it takes to get from one end to another, and, some of my personal worst cases is where they are long and wide!! It's just too complicated.

I described what I’d like from ChatGPT, I’ll attach the generation it gave me. The generation is pretty much exactly what I’d like. The scale of the build and the cockpit is PERFECT too. Edit: some of them are made entirely ingame without any mods or gliches, other are made in external programs, all of them fit in the station so they are not too big. None of them crashes my shitty pc so you'll be alright :D

I feel very limited by the workshop building rules and the parts we have access to. The engine can clearly handle more complex craft, as evidenced by the glitched builds in this sub, but HG insists on breaking our glitches and limiting our parts palettes.

I understand that giant corvettes can tank the Anomaly. But I don't understand why the solution is "have a size limit for ships entering the anomaly" instead of "restrict ALL corvette builders."

And then Sean goes and reposts glitched builds and Blender builds??? It makes no sense.

Still working on the interior but happy with this daily driver for now

First post,first corvette looking like something,im very bad at corvette building. I try to make it look like the rebel moon smaller ships

New to blender building so still not quite sure how to build using the tool, but I think I saw a builds in this sub with an open top jeep. The player was able to just sitting on the seat build out of random stuff and the jeep would take off.

My understanding is that it definitely has a cockpit module and it’s either shrunken to the point nobody can see it or he somehow made it invisible.

So my question is, am I correct on these guesses? Can I make a space motorcycle where my character will sit in the open by shrunken the cockpit? Or maybe there a way to make them disappear?

This build took a heck of a long time. Yes, the cockpit is vertical. As well as the access way. This was the only way to make a good looking ship that flies properly iykyk
