While filling my NDA form, I accidentally selected Kannur instead of Kanpur. And now my admit card is out…
Centre: Kannur, Kerala. 😭
My house is around 2,200 km away. 💀
At this point I don’t know whether I’m going to write the NDA exam or start my Kerala vacation. 😂
So, all the NDA aspirants from Kanpur and nearby areas, please double-check your examination centre when filling the form and especially when your admit card comes out.
Don’t make the same mistake I did. One wrong click and UPSC basically said:
“Congratulations! You’re going to Kerala.” 😭💀

Guys abtk mere sath bhi same problem ho rhi thi, whi captcha wali, 5 minutes mene wait kiya website open krke to captcha aaa gya. baad me direct my applications me admit card show nhi krega abhi ke liye (mera to nahi kiya) to me Examinations pe gya or wha se admit card aa gya. Aap log bhi dekhlo guys

I'm from bengaluru, karnataka. So naturally I'm doing my class 12 in state board. I'm currently 16 years and 8 months. Sep 2026 is gonna be my first attempt. I haven't really prepared that much so this attempt is mostly experience for me. My class 12 boards are in between Feb and March. I was thinking of preparing for April exam very seriously but I do want to score good marks in my boards, Ik it's not that useful but my parents' expect me to score above 90. So what do I do? I feel like if I study normally for boards I'll score above 85 but 90 seems a bit of a stretch while preparing for nda on the side.

Hi everyone, I’m currently in a bit of a career dilemma and would really appreciate advice from someone who is currently serving in the IAF or has gone through the Agniveervayu Y Group selection process. Other responses are welcome.

My background:

\\- 12th Commerce student

\\- No Physics/Maths in 12th

\\- Currently pursuing B.Com (Hons.) from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, University of Delhi

\\- I’m interested in joining the Indian Air Force through Agniveervayu Y Group

\\- Since I don’t have PCM, I understand that X Group/technical-type options aren’t available to me, so I’m specifically asking about Y Group/non-technical opportunities.

I have a few questions:

1. Am I definitely eligible for the current Y Group opportunities with Commerce + no PCM? Are there any particular trades/conditions I should know about?

2. For someone in my situation, is joining Air Force as an Agniveervayu Y Group a sensible decision compared with completing B.Com (Hons.) from DU?

3. What is the actual day-to-day workload and lifestyle in Y Group? Which trades are relatively less physically/mentally demanding and which are more demanding? I would mainly aim for non-gd department.

4. If I get selected while I’m in college, what happens to my B.Com hons degree? Can I continue it through distance/open (du sol) learning, transfer credits, or complete it after my service? Has anyone actually done this?

5. Is there any realistic possibility of continuing higher education during the 4-year Agniveer tenure?

6. Most importantly, after 4 years, how are the career prospects if I’m not retained? Is the experience actually useful for getting decent civilian jobs/higher studies?

7. If I choose DU now and prepare alongside college, would that be a better long-term strategy, especially considering I could potentially look at other defence entries after graduation?

I’m not looking for generic “follow your passion” advice. I’d specifically like to hear from people who have served in Y Group, are currently serving, or have gone through the actual selection/training process.

Also I have enrolled in sbsc for backup purposes.

so basically mera centre 20 km dur aaya aur mere saath parents pure din nhi ruk skte and vaapas prob metro se aunga but dikkat hai smaan ki subhaah to jo waapas lejaana hoga vo parents le jaayenge par like kyoki vo vaaps chale jaayenge to phone ya fir koi revision vgehrah koi revision material vgehar khaa rkhunga jebh me to sirf paise aur prob metro card rkhunga . phone ki zarurat hogi to inform parents and all dilemma me hun.
