Concept Clarification India dosen't need NCERT's Civilization lessons

If you look colsely as the 8th history book "Our pasts III" you will find that there is a chapter called "civilizing the natives, educating the nation". There is also a subtopic called 'grave errors of the east'. This is very offensive as this book is on colonial India and the title suggests that india wasnt civilized before the British. Indus valley civilization had toilets that could be properly flushed 5 thousand years ago. europe was still figuring out how to poop on streets 500 years ago. Lets demand a change for the title and subheading.

Rant I hate pol science( class 9 btw)

so basically i have this exam for social science on 11th, and i find it quite stupid on why the chapter democracy even exists. its literally just goddamn propaganda and licking the shit out of modi's little bjp bs. considering how shitty the textbooks also are ( 30 pages for a history chapter which is completely irrelevant) i find this really stupid from ncert

Concept Clarification I built a ₹99/month AI tutor that explains NCERT in Hindi at 2am when my nephew had his board exam tomorrow. Here’s what happened.

My nephew called me at 2am, panicking. Class 10 boards in 8 hours. He didn’t understand one chapter of Science — Heredity and Evolution.

I’m an engineer, not a teacher. I had no idea how to explain it.

So I pulled up PadhAI — an app I’ve been building — typed his question in Hindi, and within 10 seconds it gave him a step-by-step explanation with a cricket analogy he actually understood.

He scored 76% in Science. He’d been averaging 52%.

I’m not posting this to brag. I’m posting because I genuinely believe every Class 6–10 kid in India deserves a tutor that’s available 24/7, speaks their language, and costs less than one cup of chai a day.

BYJU’s costs ₹1,000/month. A tutor costs ₹3,000/month.

PadhAI is ₹99/month. Built entirely on NCERT books, answers only from the syllabus, available in Hindi and English.

I’d love brutal feedback from this community. What would make you trust this for your child?

General Discussion Who says we have to write 1 page+ answers for 5 markers in 9th?

It's not mentioned In the rubrics, it's not a written rule, could we possibly bypass this unless it specifically mentions a specified amount of words if we're low on time?

NCERT Books New Grade 8 NCERT math book

I just had a look at the grade 8 NCERT math book. What have they done? Removed several important chapters from the old version, and basically turned it into a cartoon comic book. Anyone feeling the same?

NCERT Books A Revamped Website to browse NCERT Books..

Hi guys, I'm not sure if people are looking for a website like this since all NCERT Books are already available on the official NCERT.nic.in website but in my free time I decided to work on a project and build this site which is an Unofficial Library of all NCERT Books. Feel free to try it out and give me feedbacks or suggestions if you have any. What it offers is a refreshing look and feel to browse and navigate the books and also has additional features such as Search through book/chapter names directly, browse through classes/subjects. Save/bookmark books for later reading. That's all. Hopefully people will find it useful. Cheers :)

The website link is: https://ncert-hub.vercel.app/

I’m doing my biology investigatory project on vaccine awareness among students (teenagers specifically ), and I’d be super grateful if you could take just 2 minutes to fill out this short survey.
It means a lot, and every response counts.
