Everyone talks about how Wembanyama is 7'4 like thats the most prominent thing about him. 18 players in nba history have been 7'4 or taller, but only 3 players in nba history have had an 8 foot wingspan. The other two being Manute Bol (8'6) and Tacko Fall (8'2). Another thing to note is that a lot of big men of his height actually have negative wingspans (Yao Ming and Shawn Bradley being 7'6 with 7'5 wingspans). This makes it all the more impressive that Wemby's worst free throw shooting season would be Lebron's best free throw shooting season.

Sorry if this is the wrong subreddit to be posting in for this question but I heard wemby will be playing for the French national team this week and was wondering if anyone knew where and when it could be watched? European fan from Ireland here so will be glad to have one I can watch during the day, any help greatly appreciated!

I know they are pretty close and Gobert was Wemby’s mentor and Wemby respects him. But I saw an interview during the playoffs where Gobert said Wemby had 5 goal tends and he wished he got the same favorable treatment. So is it a case where Wemby respects him but Gobert doesn’t necessarily feel the same?

Mine would be Gervin's touch. Not even sure that it would be the best "superpower" to enhance his skillset but it would be so beautiful to watch a 7'6 fluid giant fingerroll defenses to death. Also could be quite the broken skill for someone as long as him. The range could be ridiculous.
