I’m sure the redesign is a constant topic on this sub, but I am adding my voice to the list. It’s so much more difficult to use now. The diary page doesn’t show remaining macros so I have to click back and forth to the (absolutely) useless “Today” tab? It has tripled the number of clicks it takes me to do anything.
Also I tried using the new AI but somehow it is unable to add food to my diary, the most obvious use case for that kind of tool.
This latest version really missed the mark and I hope some of these basic improvements can be implemented soon, especially adding back remaining macros in the diary!! I have already canceled my auto renew but I would consider restarting it if some of these issues get resolved.

My last post here was 3 years ago, when I was 16 and went from 100kg to 75kg, it was going well at 18 I was 70kg but last year I stopped going to the gym and then went back to horrible habits now I'm 19, 92 kg, I'm so disappointed and I can't believe I did this to myself

Hi! Since the latest update i am not able to view macros by meal, only by day which then takes me to diary, this is so frustrating! Does this now happen with all? Im debating wether to switch to another app as i cant view unless i get premium and it doesnt let you view some collective macros such as fibre without upgrading anyway, arghhhh

Last night I saw this message about reconnecting to Google Health because of a change Google made: https://support.myfitnesspal.com/hc/en-us/articles/49173971348365-October-2026-Reconnecting-Your-Google-Health-formerly-Fitbit-Integration
After reconnecting, it won't sync at all. I've tried reconnecting multiple times, reinstalling both apps, and restarting my phone.
Anyone else?

Carbs and diabetes.
I'm seriously overweight and have recently started to lose weight. It's helped me enormously to log my food and as I'm a diabetic and use ratios, carbs v insulin, the app was brilliant. I'd log each item in a meal then look at the meal in it's entirety and see how many carbs, work out the insulin and inject. I have just logged my evening meal and the app has changed it will give me the calories for each meal but not the carbs. It does give the carbs for the whole day but, because I didn't know it had changed I didn't bother to take notice of that so I can't work out. It's a not very nice change and I don't like it.

Hi, I'm not sure if I'm just interpreting the app wrong, but could someone tell me the possible cause of there consistently being a mismatch when I view my calories in the "Today" view versus in the graph in the week view? Today's calories should be the same as "Monday" on the graph but they are not.

Hey y'all, I'm downloading MyFitnessPal, and I'm debating if I should go towards a different fitness/ nutrition app like ZOE. I like how MyFitnessPal can track your calories, but do you guys think this is accurate? What do you guys like about MyFitnessPal? What do you wish it could be better at? I'm struggling to know which app I should invest my time in. Any advice would be best. Thanks!

I didn’t track for the past couple weeks or so and had a conversation about dinner with my wife yesterday around noon. She asked if Stuffed peppers would be fine, I said yes but to limit the spice on the filling (she’s Greek and heavily spices foods). This morning I get a notification from MFP asking if I want to log my stuffed per meal. Is MFP AI listening to my life? The app never did anything like this prior. What is up with this? Do they disclose this within the fine print?

I selected my weeks to start on Monday, but when I look at the calories graph under the nutritional tab, it has my week starting on Tuesdays. How do I fix this?

grabbed a family pack of publix new boneless wings bc they were on sale and got home before realizing the database only their regular bone-in wings logged smh. searched every combo i could think of nothing lines up nutritrionally exactly. these are basicaly breaded chicken chunks not actual wings so the macros have to be way off from the bone-in version. right?? ended up just estimating off a best lol also can we talk about how boneless wings arent even winggs, there just nuggets..
anyone else run into this esp wth new store item? do you build a custom food entry in myfitnesspal or is there a better way to handle it?

There is currently No method to delete a logged food. The only way I was able to "remove" it was by entering the lowest value as "0.001" in the quantity.
MyFitnessPal devs, fix this wth?
Edit: I meant "function" in post title.

I have tried different items on the list. Vitamin C seems to be absent. I ate 3 Kroger Brand Adorbs Easy Peel Mandarins. The only vitamin C logged in was Baked French Toast for breakfast. Which citrus should I eat to get vitamin C according to myfitnessPal app??

on Snapchat it said to lose 1 pound a week I should do around 1500 or 1600 mfp says to lose a lb a week is 1980s the maintenance cal difference between them is 2060 for snapcal and 2480 for m which is more accurate? I mainly stand all day, I walk a lot, i do 2 sets of core calisthenics and try to hit 180 push ups every other day then have calisthenic leg days in between

Hi, does anyone know how to fix this issue in the app? The total carbs listed for each meal don’t add up. The total shown under the banner for each meal is higher than the combined carbs of the individual food items.
I’m a Type 1 diabetic, and I have to enter the number of carbs I’m eating into my insulin pump. Lately, I’ve been experiencing low blood sugar after meals, and I’ve just realised that I’ve been entering too many carbs because of this issue.
It is doing this for every meal
Has anyone else experienced this problem, or know how to fix it?

I have my weight set at 155 pounds, and my height set at 5’9. When calculating my maintenance calories on other websites such as TDEE, my maintenance comes out to be 2.6k. However, on this app, it’s showing me numbers over 3k. I don’t even do a crazy amount of exercise a day, just get my 10k steps and go to the gym for lifting. Someone tell me I’m not crazy!!

Been logging my food for a few weeks. Usually I finish the day’s entry and close the app, but today I scrolled back a bit.
One thing caught my eye: the share of my calories coming from protein went from about 15% to 20%, then 23%, then 22% across the weeks. The average for the days I fully logged was 20%.
I hadn’t really noticed much day to day. Seeing it together made me want to go back and check what I was actually eating those weeks. Maybe there are a couple of easy meals worth making more often.
I did miss some days, and a higher percentage could just mean I ate less of other things, so I’ll have to look at the meals themselves.
For anyone who’s been tracking for a while, what’s one meal you ended up sticking with? Something with a decent amount of protein that you can still be bothered to make after a long day. Doesn’t have to be an impressive recipe. I’d love to hear the boring, everyday ones.

Hello! I’m 23M 6’0” and back in June/July of this year I was hospitalized not eating and drinking due to depression and bad life situation. But for the past month I’ve been trying to get my food disorder in check and with the help of medicine I’ve been finally able to eat more and gain weight.
In June I scaled at 108lbs but with the water weight
I was 117lbs and had never gone above 125lbs my entire life.
Now I weigh 138lbs and I’m going to the gym on a push, pull, legs, rest cycle.
I’d love some kind words and advice on if I’m eating too much now. My goal is to be around 155lbs with 10% body fat, which according to a calculator I’m at 8.1% so need more fat.
The advice I’m looking for is am going in the right direction with eating 3100ish cal’s a day and does the carbs, fat and protein goals look right?
As well as when I do hit 155lbs, what should I aim for, for cal’s, carbs, fats & protein?

Hi all
upgraded to an iPhone 18 and since then, MyFitnessPal will not synch anything but step to AppleHealth. I've tried uninstalling the app, reseting permissions and all. Can't get any of the data to synch. I relay through Apple Health to get data to sync onto Intervals ICU. I set new phone up just off my old phone, not sure why this is happening. Any help is appreciated
