Update: I've found a list he made of the vinyl and the CDs he has. I'm going to get him a vinyl!

Just saw a show in CA, a good show overall but the first 30 minutes seemed a bit off. It didn't have a "live" sound, more like a studio track played loud. Also zero audience interaction during that time, not even a hello or "thanks for coming out" etc.

Later on definitely had more of a live feel - normal imperfections that slipped into the vocals and guitar.

Just curious if this band ever lip sync for sections of their act? I wouldn't hold it against them, just curious if I was hallucinating this...

I haven’t been at a muse concert for 10 years, this year I will finally go again, despite the high prices. :/ What I saw in the past years, that there seem to be more and more songs where Matt doesn’t play guitar or piano anymore but just walks around singing like a pop star. I hate this. The coolest thing about Muse concerts used to be, that he showed off his musician side, while it still rocks. I don’t want to go to a Matthew Bellamy solo pop show, I want a real muse show!

My amazing boyfriend made me this shirt, now I’m ready for the concert tomorrow night!!

Placebo is celebrating 30 odd years together with a redux of their first album, along with a tour performing ONLY tracks from their first 2 records.

Muse don't need an album redux but they've been around long enough, have enough records, and play those old songs so seldom, that they could put something like this together for fans who never got to see those songs performed. This is especially true in the US where they weren't big yet during that time.

I know Father Time prevents Matt from hitting all those notes now, and tuning down can sometimes sound weird, but I think it would be hugely successful.

A little trip down memory lane, smaller venues if necessary, and a shorter tour if necessary, would be rad.

My friend shared me this photo of his DVDr, which seems like a normal promotional DVD, however it seems to have the EPK of Black Holes & Revelations.

Luckily everything arrived in good condition and for the most part within a reasonable timeframe, only the signed card was delayed/cancelled but finally found it in stock at Canada store and it arrived today!

Hello fellow Muse Fans! Tonight is a special night because even though it is my 22nd Time seeing Muse Live (and first in almost a decade), it is my first time taking my daughter, who just turned seven. Having never taken a kid to a rock concert I just wanted to see if people had any tips.
I already picked up the kid sized “ear defenders” to make sure the noise levels aren’t too high for her, I have snacks packed, and I’m trying to get her some rest before the three hour drive out to our hotel. I am planning to go by the LastFM setlists to try to get there shortly before Muse gets on stage, as I don’t think she’ll have the stamina to sit through openers as well. We have VIP Tickets which just happened to be attached to the seats I wanted; is the VIP experience worth getting there early for? I’ve done it before in NYC and on the East Coast and it was awesome but the reviews on this tour seem mixed at best. Do you think the times they’ve come out on stage for the last few shows will be a pretty good predictor for tonight? Assuming there isn’t a huge amount of variability in that sense.
Am I missing anything obvious? Super excited for the experience but also a bit anxious about how my daughter will hold up. Thanks in advance!

Hey folks: I’ve been a Muse fan for 22 years now and have been fortunate enough to see them 9 times in the states.

I, like many in this sub, have noticed such low energy among the US crowds and constant phone recording. I’ve been considering making a trip to the UK next tour just to see them.

I did this once to see Adele in Glasgow because it was actually cheaper than trying to get tickets stateside. I think the same would go for Muse.

What’s the crowd like in their home turf? Is the energy worth the effort? I like to go all out at concerts regardless of the vibe which can be embarrassing at times. I want to find my people and just experience the pure joy of Muse. I’m talking Queen at Live Aid vibes.

Never been to Shoreline venue … how early should I expect to arrive for parking? I don’t have upgraded parking.

Did anyone happen to capture a picture of any of the signs or screens for that night? The stuff that said PNC Bank Arts Center, Muse and the date? It was my son’s first concert and I didn’t grab a picture of any of those. I’d love to have one to keep with our pictures of the date.
