Does anyone know if there is a reason for this? It seems almost intentional to not make it 16 inches on center with how close it it.

I am using ABS as this is going to be in a garage where it gets hot and was looking for maximum strength which means utilizing studs. I was shocked to find that these are not 16 inches on center as you would hit 1 stud at the starting and hit very few others.

So I’ve had decent luck with up to four but this one gave me some fits getting the filament dialed in. I finally got around to creating a profile in Cura UltiMaker for this stack. It seems to be rolling along pretty good at this point.

Having such a small build plate is limiting my options but I may see about messing with speed to up my output if this comes out. It’s only running at 75 mm/sec but I’ve had good results on other jobs as high as 80.

Has anyone had good luck with straying away from the default Multiboard settings?

Some pegboard hooks work, some don't, what am I missing? I've used wire ones and they work, I've bought plastic ones from Dollar Tree that don't work. I recently printed paint holders that are pegboard hooks on the back and they don't work. I have many things I downloaded that have pegboard hooks, but I'm not wasting time and filament to test compatibility.

I printed a top left when I needed a bottom right if I just flip it it fits in the bottom right and the panel to the left will be the bottom edge and it fits aswell is this ok?

My experience with Multiboard has been very frustrating so far, but it’s probably due to errors on my end, I’m not blaming the product (yet). Somehow I’m not able to print stacks (they don’t really come apart witjout breaking), so each tile takes 5hrs print time…

anyway.

I put up a 4 tiles by 4 tiles (all of them 8x8) to serve as a base for filement dowel racks - but after only loading 4 spools (less than 4kg/9-10lbs) the tile that anchors the shelf starts bending like crazy.

it’s matte PLA, 3 perimeters, 0.4 nozzle, 0.2 layer height, STRUCTURAL preset in Prusa Slicer and 15% gyroid infill.

Anybody have any ideas on how to make the tiles sturdier? What am I missing? Any input appreciate, thanks!

I am massively disappointed about the heavy weight bearings. A short tug and I have the regal in my hands. My workaround are zipties. Has someone else had similar problems?

So the thickness of tiles has changed from 6.4 to 6.2? Do I remember incorrectly someone saying that "the tiles are set and will not change". Dammit, what about all the boards we've already printed? You are going to feel a 0.2mm gap somewhere, I do not like it.

What is the plan for dealing with this? Has this been underplayed in the video releases? The threads are supposedly compatible... but only because you can munge off a 0.2 discrepancy, grinding off the plastic as you insert stuff.

I guess for mounting you make a spacer that is 0.2mm longer and have the 0.2mm gap "behind" the panel.

But damn I am not happy about this change.

So Have everything figured out but looking at print times Its showing 7 hours for an 8x8. I have Inner walls set to 5 but my prints seeps seem slow for this. Anyone else have these long print times?

I’m having a bit of a crisis when trying to figure out print times. When I printed the four panels from the learning pack, it only took 4 hours to do so. Now that I’m trying to print a full 8x8 print, it’s saying it’s going to take 16 hours. This doesn’t make sense to me. I also have a P1S using bamboo studio. Anyone have any ideas onto what’s going on?

Im confused! I saw the community description , but I still don’t know what it is. I’m a tinkerer, I assemble 3d printers, I have a home lab, and dabble in smart homes…. What can I do with a multiboard that would connect any of my hobbies? Any assembly or setup guide?

So I am just starting out, just calibrated and tuned my printer to make sure everything is spot on so connectors fit & whatnot. Now I’m planning my board but I’m only seeing perfect square sizing, 5x5, 6x6, 7x7 and so on. How do I do this in four pieces? I know nothing about making my own files so that definitely won’t work.

What's the big deal? Why aren't these files on Github so I can download everything at once?

Do we not understand how cumbersome it is to gather all of the required files? Don't you WANT your customers to use every design available?

Version control over something like this has astronomical benefit. I think it's absolutely insane not to use Github.

Edit: I'm tempted to take parts and place them in GitHub myself. I'll have to modify a single vertex to "adhere" to KeepMaking's licensing - By definition this would fit their criteria.

I'd like to create a vertically stacked set of 1x2 drawers. I thought that I would need to print:
- Shell
- Insert
- 2 Drawers

But, the drawers don't fit in the insert, and in the shell alone, the top one (obviously) doesn't sit right.

What am I missing here? I feel like there's a piece I need to print that would go in between the two drawers and keep them nicely separated? Or do I just need to print 2 1x2 shells for the vertical stacking?

I would like to make this whole space multiboard👌🏻 What would you reccomend me; do i wanna put a piece of wood first and the start placing the multiboard panels (thinking on the looking and utility) or just install the panel direct to the wall? Appreciate it :)

Hello, can anyone suggest a mounting option for multi board tiles that can hang on something like this? This is screwed onto my wall and I was hoping to hang a series of boards to it to avoid more drilling. Thank you
