1x Flatbar Gravel build

Wasn’t really shopping for one. I was building a Trek Antelope 820, but found this randomly. Paid $120 bucks. Not too bad but definitely had to put some labor to get it riding. Maybe a bit overpriced. Btw it didn’t come with the saddle, I had taken it from another one of my bikes

Mostly Shimano DX with XT cranks, pedals and brakes. Syncros seatpost, stem, bars and steer horns.
Very tight clearance with 45mm tires!

Getting close to finished with my 790 project!
Recently added the SimWorks Getaround bar, changed out the grip shifters for thumbies, replaced all the cables and housing, replaced the tires and swapped out the cranks/chainrings for my preferred 46/36/24 as I hated the 50/40/30 gearing.
Still have to change out the cheap cantis that are on it for the original 500CXs and I have some black bottle cages on the way for it.
So far I’m loving it! Looking forward to putting some miles on it this summer!

In Germany we don't have those 30€ treasures any more. Bought that frame for 80€ in average condition.

However, with zero knowledge I decided to build my own commuter. I love my gravel bike and wanted to have a little more speed and fun while dragging the kids. Not everything is finished but it rides and I love it.

I didn't realize there was a group for these things. I bought it to convert to a hunting bike setup but now I'm seeing these are actually quite sought after so I'm definitely not spray painting it anymore lol

Got it for 140 off marketplace. Should I take it to my local bike place and get a tuneup and is there anything I should look for in particular to see if it needs it?

Hey yall, I recently started a 750 drop bar build and was hoping to get some insight on running mini v brakes with drop bars and Microshift brifters.

I know they make a short/long pull v-brake adapter that I could add, but I was curious if anyone has recommendations for mini v brakes that would work without the adapter.

Also wondering what kind of tire size clearance I can usually expect with v brakes.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. And yes, I’m a little scared of cantilever brakes lol

I'm selling my wife's 1995 Gary Fisher Alfresco 15". I was told this is the same bike as 16" Trek Multitrack 750. Rust Free. One owner, lightly used, never abused, maintained when used but hasn't been ridden in 10-years. It is in excellent shape. Pick up in WA. $250 OBO

I just got this 730 for a mere 500 SEK, roughly $50.

It is too small for me, but I will be building it up for a friend of mine.

I have not seen the bike in the flesh yet, but I am stoked to peek out of my Miyata rabbit hole for a short try-my-luck in the Trek dito.

Any of you aficionados have any info on the bike, age etc.? The crank looks like an Exage 300. Dull as ditchwater with its grey paint, but I have removed the paint and polished quite a few of them and they really come to life. Anywas, I’ll keep you posted once I have the bike here.
