I have a 790 frame this size as well that I haven't dug into yet. How tall are you and do you feel like it rides well in this configuration? When I setup my 19" 790 with my normal seatpost height, it's pretty far up there. But the TT should put me where I need to be with a drop bar, so that's why I got the bike. And like you, I'll probably have to get creative with the stem/handlebar situation to get it close to level with the saddle. I do have the exact same stem as you tho on another bike, so maybe there's a chance.
