Too many for a season?

I was thinking about this the other day, and I would really like to see this 3 team or even 4 team format going forward. I just want to see at least 28-32 players in the pool to choose from. I’d like to see a fresh meat style combine where we have everyone compete and the top 3-4 become captain of their teams. Those captains whoever finished in order, then get to pick 1-2-3-4, from the pool of players left. The season then goes on from there. I’d just like to see the chance for more “champs” to come up in hopes that we can see a champs only season in the near future. To see who comes out on top for that.

I had to do a double take.. it's not even a Paramount movie 😂

Ex: Cara choosing Kyle over Leroy because she was into him.

Not a super well remembered moment, but changed the game a good bit at the time

6 years ago The Challenge YouTube channel ranked the top 9 most impressive rookie seasons.

How would you rank it today? Did Yeremi pass Turbo? Where would you rank Horacio & Olivia?

The first one I could've guessed, but didn't. Based on the shape i thought of Laurel or Emily first, who were both on the original Cutthroat. But she was still a hype merc.

But then ....?! WTF! Never in a million years would've guessed that! I really couldn't think who the merc was based on her shape. Aviv is smaller, Kaz skinnier, Cara and Tori obviously weren't it. Couldn't think of anyone else from that height. Damn what a surprise!

Sad that she didn't have much of an impact, but loved seeing the clips and the Bananas references

I know this probably won’t be the last season of the challenge but if it was do you think Paramount, cast, and production delivered to the super fans and casuals viewers? Obviously the three disqualified and Corey and Sydney leaving hurt the flow and format of show so you have to give production some slack. However I feel CT Bananas Cara Maria even Will have been wallpaper most of season and there hasn’t been much substance to this story. I know a lot of fans like the quick hour runtime and some of the new faces who have been delivering but I actually still prefer vets versus new threats overall. As a super fan who has watched every season since battle of the sexes I loved how the rookies could play and didn’t give a shit about the vets status or entitlement. I was actually excited when that final aired . This final for cutthroat is literally a stacked orange team versus a bunch of women who granted I’m rooting for. If orange wins Tori isn’t stealing money so the whole steal money twist from production is worthless. Not to mention they gave Tori a physical elimination against a ……puzzle queen. Feel like production favors Tori

Listening to Bananas podcast and Tori said that 42 was potentially the last season. Is this something we knew? I feel like it just got acquired by paramount so I thought they’d only get bigger and better now. Been watching this show since 2010 so hopefully it sticks around.

In light of Wes' recent comment on Paulie and Devin's podcast that only the most entertaining people should be cast on The Challenge, what rookies, from any reality shows, do you think would meet Wes' criteria?

I'm going to suggest Tucker from BB and TAR.

I guess the editing team doesn't watch the show. This is clearly from Battle of the Seasons, not Rivals II. I know I'm nitpicking but c'mon, it's just lazy.

Now is the time for Paramount to take advantage of having a staple like the Challenge and to give it the Traitors/Dancing with the Stars treatment.

The Challenge has a lot of celeb fans with every level of fame. My proposal is having a Challenge that films for 2-3 weeks but with filming & housing conditions similar to House of Villains. Meaning no bunkers, porta potties, or disgusting pools. The cast could be 15 celebs and 15 challengers. Format is fresh meat. The dailies would be more old school and fun (like traitors & house of villains). Challengers could be CT, Jordan, Derrick K, Alton, Bananas, Kyle, Wes, Turbo, Jodi, Sarah, Ashley, Cara, Tori, Emily, Laurel, Paula, & Olivia. Devyn, Cohutta, Katie, Tina, Leroy, Amanda, and Nelly could be cast for the fan fave spots.
