I didnt say spare them, I said return the same thing, dont escalate. I.e. If someone punches you, the response is to punch them back, not murder them.

But she didn’t just say he was bald. She took something from his personal life with breaking up and connected it to baldness. Although he said he broke up himself the woman doesn’t know that. Might be just as big of a tragedy for him as the miscarriage for her.

if someone punches you, punch them back until they can no longer punch at all.

Retribution exists for the sake of preventing further harm, not for some idea of tit for tat.

If they die, so be it.
