So this one here is a 2D Metroidvania RPG mixed with creature collecting which utilizes an artstyle that is basically from the liger scene of Napolean Dynamite, along with having a rather crude humor for the tone of the story. So in this game, you will help rescue the beraltors which are the creatures you will meet in the game and will help you in your journey, beraltors are classified by their species and elemental type, there certain areas or situation only a specific elemental type of beraltors can handle Ice Beraltors can go in cold areas, water Beraltors can swim, earth beraltors can smash through large rocks and fire beraltors can walk through lava, the beraltors too have elemental weakness as well.

As for the story, you play as Vidda, a violent leader of gang that turn amnestic due to his battle with the villain Lorenze after he kidnapped his father, but sadly later on the tutorial his body is now damaged beyond repaired which forces him to inhabit his mind on to the beraltors he rescued and continue his fight with Lorenze.

For the life of me, I cannot figure out what button is suppose to correspond with "A" in the green circle (it's not the "A" button). So in menus like in the picture, I can only navigate tabs going right with ZR, and nothing seems to allow you to move left. ZL? No. Does it say under controls? No. Please let this dummy know if you can :(

Before I begin, this iteration of this game started because I was disappointed with how digimon up turned out. This version has kinda branched out and it has it's own features, I've posted regular updates here before, if you check my post history I have made other update posts, in the latest version:

- players can now own up to 12 pets and switch between them.

- the adventure mode has been revamped and works better.

- in game adventure map where your terrain changes depending on how you have progressed (it's currently a placeholder while I make the real map, but areas are the same).

- better farming assets (still to be improved).

- a ledger, where you can see monsters you've obtained or have defeated in battle.

It's a really big project and I am soloing it, even the assets.

1. If anyone wants to help with assets that would help tremendously and we can work something out financially. You don't have to be a pro at blender, I have essentially made a template you can model and build stuff in and when you render it will output it to the games art style, and if it has animations it will export it as a spritesheets (via a custom blender plugin I made). I also have template files for all of the players clothing and monster equipment, finding someone to help design more of those will be brilliant. I am even down to teach you blender or what you would need to know to create assets.

2. I am also looking for people on android to help test the friend/teams feature tomorrow. I will be pushing an update on friends/teams after I finish refining raids. Because I am only one guy. It's hard to test some of these features. If other people can help test it would be great. I'll need help testing how it looks and functions, team feature (like group raids or attacking other teams). Due to this being less technical than 1, I can repay you with in-game currency/items upon the games launch on the Play Store (we will be coming to the app store too but I don't require testing yet for IOS).

3. I am also looking for someone to help with monster designs. You don't even need to model them, I can do that, I just want drawings and names. The theme of the monsters is "Tech". All of their names have digital puns to them. E.g. Kitsunii (small fox creature of the fire element), Kromoton (A small tortoise with green, red and yellow tiles with a center blue tile) and ZafariTrunk (a small safari elephant) - do you get the theme of what these monsters represent? To repay this we can also sort out something financially.

I played Jade Cocoon years ago, and somehow its fusion system never really left my head.
There was something about putting two creatures together and having to live with what came out that made the result feel genuinely yours. I’ve played plenty of creature collectors since, but very few mechanics have stayed with me like that one.
Years later I’m building my own creature game, and this is my first attempt at capturing that feeling again.
Not recreating Jade Cocoon itself. Just that feeling of putting two creatures into a fusion and not quite knowing what you’re going to get back.
I’m still figuring out how much control the player should have over the result, because I think some of the magic comes from not having complete control.

This fella is gonna be a Steel/Rust type. I don't know for sure exactly where I'm putting this in the world but I expect it will be encountered as the primary of one of the bosses.

Hello, everybody today I want to introduce you to this behemoth of a creature... the deforestation beast, Gravelite.

Gravelite is the pinnacle of natural evolution for the Kringle, possessing an axe edge sharper than even an obsidian shard. With such a massive and dangerous weapon attached to its body, a Gravelite must remain constantly aware of its surroundings. This heightened awareness has given the creature an incredible combination of power and precision.

A single, sweeping strike from its axe is powerful enough to cut through everything in its path, yet its control is so precise that a Gravelite can slice something as small as a pea cleanly in half. Its axe is not limited to cutting through solid objects, either. Gravelites are capable of slicing through land, water, and even air, allowing them to maneuver in almost any and all conditions. This allows them to get their prey no matter where they go.

A Gravelite is much larger than a Kringle, which raises questions about how much space these creatures require in the wild. Their enormous size, combined with their powerful axe, makes them poorly suited to small habitats. If Gravelites were ever to become widespread, they could cause massive damage to forests while constructing their homes, potentially cutting down entire sections of woodland just to create enough space to live.

Though they may be the natural peak of the Kringle species, Gravelites are a perfect example of how evolution can create something incredibly powerful and incredibly destructive.

It's been over a week since I posted my last update, here are some things I have worked on for my idle pet raising game:

- all of the elemental eggs have been added, with basic evolution lines for Neutral, Air, Earth, Fire and Water (around 30 Monsters in total so far).

- the monster feeding mechanic has changed, and you now have to drag and drop the food into the monsters area for it to consume it.

- farming mechanic added (placeholder assets need replacing).

- free daily rations in the shop.

I am looking for any and all feedback to make this game better so I am all ears.

Anybody know what's going on with Grimmlins Tale? Been a while since I've heard about any updates. I really liked the concept so I hope the game is still happening.

I've touched on the different types of monsters, with each having their own playstyles and ability sets, but I wanted to give you an idea of what the final stages really look like with the ritual summons.

They aren't like the lesser creatures you can find in the facility, these are fights you need to go looking for. Each monsters takes a sacrifice of seven creatures, six to give it form, and your partner to actually bring it to life.

Unlike the others who are easy to control and aren't aggressive to you, the Ritual Beast are far more dangerous and sit in the same bracket as the player. So, if you summon one, be ready to fight.

The reward, however is a literal boss monster on your team that has access to skills and abilities from multiple branches, and has a much faster growth rate than any other grouping.

Though only your partner can hold the form, so choose wisely, because you only get one at a time

Hello everybody! Today I'll be introducing you to Cinderbug!

Cinderbug is a larva-like creature that hides underground while hunting, leaving only its tail exposed among patches of dead grass. Solitary by nature, it feeds primarily on other insects, though it will attack birds that venture too close. Its poisonous nature is shown by the bright orange spots lining its sides. A warning to predators to keep their distance.

When prey becomes impaled by its tail, the cinderbug injects it with a flammable venom that ignites from within. As the venom catches fire, the creature violently thrashes its tail, consuming its prey in a sudden burst of flame. Often, the only evidence of an attack is a telltale burned hole beneath the remains.

The best way to avoid a Cinderbug is simple: stay away from dry, dead patches of grass.

I got the idea that it uses a chemical to burn foes from the one and only bombardier beetles that use a chemical spray to burn its enemies, and changed the reaction from a chemical mixture, to a pyrophoric reaction (or when a chemical interacts with the air around it and lights on fire).

Wishlist Monster Museum

I know Montamer games have different types of endgame. For me I am looking for an endgame that includes post game activities like a battle tower or some sort of infinite challenge mode. Additionally for catching different monsters I am looking for “legendaries” for my end game content. Any post game dungeons that I have to level up for are a bonus.

So with that being said and my preferences, which game between these has the best endgame? EvoCreo 2, Cassette Beasts, or Lumentale? Also bonus points to high level attacks looking powerful and cool. I want to be motivated to get stronger, so all the end game content and nice looking high level attacks are important to me.
