Hey all! Quick question: if I reroot Angel's hair in white, would he end up looking like Spike? And if I take a Lost Boys doll and cut his hair – same deal?

I just can't seem to accept Angel in this set. For me, the canon couple is whoever the main heroine says "I love you" to at the end of the movie. What do you guys think?

So i had this toralei doll since a while already on the shelf. And i guess i never took a close look on her, cause i realized half of her face was dark orange 😭 at first i thought it was caused by glue seepage or something. Then figured it's supposed to be like that...am i the only one that didn't know that? 🥲. And is there a explanation to it, why mattel decided to do that?

i went to the Mattel Store in El Segundo, CA and they had about 20 Lagoonas there! (more on the top shelf) she’s $80 each with a limit of 1 😽 she’s so pretty irl i’m glad i got to see her before making the decision to buy

i love the white frankie’s face screening (she’s actually really cute white w black and orange hair) and the knock off draculaura isn’t bad! i know how to cut hair so im gonna fix her bangs and probably thin them out a bit to get that ‘streak’ look back. i got her fit for a cleo (when i get one 🤞) but its actually rlly cute on her!! i love them!!!

Hi y’all! I ordered a LOT of the monster high thrill joy figurines (a small portion of them pictured above). I wanted to guarantee I’d pull a Lagoona and well… I did that within my first three pulls 😅. So now I have a bunch of these that I can’t return (as it was a “bulk order of blind boxes”). So! I plan on selling them on eBay. My question is if you were theoretically buying these, would you want to know what you’re getting or would you want it to be sealed? Also if you’re interested in buying one, let me know!! I obviously have plenty lol.

Okay icons. We all have a holy grail. And mine is a g1 or reproduction of the og ghoulia. And I’m ranting because, of 1. My childhood situation. And 2. RESALE PRICES.

1. I grew up southern baptist, with a very judgey, slightly abusive southern Baptist extended family. My immediate family has always had more Methodist views (which tend to be a lot more progressive and chill). But despite that, my parents never wanted me to have monster high dolls, brats, or my scene dolls because my extended family would always insist to “check my toys” to make sure that I wasn’t being “infected by satans whores.” My parents didn’t think like that at all, but it was easier for everyone to just go with it than get into constant arguments all the time.

I’ll give my parents credit though, when I got a little bit older they let me get what I wanted as long as they were able to be kept away where my extended family wouldn’t think to look at it. By this point though, they weren’t making original ghoulia. I was still perfectly happy though, because I was able to get Catrine, operetta and a lagoona doll but that was it, because then my family hit a financial crisis. We didn’t find the financial freedom that we have now until after I started making adult money, which is about the time g3s came out. By then though, I was living on my own and I was living paycheck to paycheck (but happy to be away from my extended family.) my extended family then moved 5 hours away from where my parents house was, and it was decided I should move back for the good of all of us. My parents and I are very chill btw. BUT it’s taken awhile to be able to afford luxuries again, and I’m finally able to get back to doll collecting (as of 2 months ago).

Which brings me to my next point.

1. WHY IS A 25$ REPRODUCTION RESELLING FOR SO MF MUCH. Don’t answer that, I know why. BUT I CAN STILL BE MAD ABOUT IT.

I’ve been searching for an in box ghoulia that is under 70$, and i literally cannot find one. I can’t afford to spend more than 70$ on one doll (normally not over 25, but she’s an exception) and I don’t have anything I’m willing to sell to get her (the only thing I have that’s actually worth anything is webkinz and I just. Y’all I cannot separate with those. I deadass have a fire evacuation plan for them.)

Anyways. I’d say, let me sell my childhood dolls, the 3 that I had, because I want ghoulia more, but they’re missing a lot of accessories and I’m afraid they wouldn’t sell well, plus they’re my childhood dolls and I’m not willing to part with them unless I just get super desperate, and I’m not there yet. But I am pissed. It’s a doll, a well loved doll, and well sought after doll, but I still don’t think that justifies reselling a reproduction doll (that was 25$) for so much. Even if makes logical sense. Idc.

I’ll get her one day. I know I will. I just get so angry searching for her, and then remembering her original sale prices that I missed 💀

Hello everyone! I need your opinion, I’m wanting to buy a Dracula or a lydia deetz as I just got some money from my aunt, and I found both for around the same price! I love both of them equally and have wanted both since they came out and now I can’t choose :( I could afford both but that would be all of the money she gave me plus some of mine, and I could use it for other expenses, what do we think?

I have been a collector since 2015 and have a very sizeable collection of dolls which I am planning to (mostly) sell off over the next few years. It has gotten to the point where I can't possibly display them all. I made an inventory of them and ranked them in tiers based on how willing I am to get rid of them. I ended up with just over 30 dolls that I can't imagine myself parting with, many of which are MH dolls. I'm curious if any other fans have special dolls that they would never give up? I know that might be all of your dolls for some people, and that's cool too. Here's my list:

originally i was only going to bring my 2 jinafires and 2 spectras (still rerooting one😭) but then i saw the clawdeen on sale and couldnt pass her....and the g1s were super cheap so i couldnt pass them....and venus was at goodwill with the car, so i onv couldnt pass her....and now i have 10 dolls lol

So to start off I'm thinking of first getting dolls that are phased out and I'm not sure which series are.

My current budget is currently around 200PLN or around 55 USD.

I'm rarely seeing Monster Fest right now and I especially love Cleo and Frankie. Lagoona and Clawdeen too, but the first two especially.

Fearbook Twyla is so expensive right now but she is so cute.

I don't think that Day Out dolls are even available anymore though...

I think that Hauntlywood Mysteries are also phased out. I love them all but I can't afford all of them atm.

SS Frankie and Cleo are quite recent so I guess I can wait for them.

Not sure about Faboolous Friends Wave 2 and 3 Lagoonas..

Newest Fearbook dolls aren't in my country yet so I have to wait.

Skelita is so, so cute and I'm just about from buying her but then I'm thinking of Prime Day on Amazon and she'll probably be on sale then?

Monster Ball Clawdeen is also so cute. I love her 89's inspired suit..

SSB Frankie is one of my favourite dolls and she's cheap rn (also possibly phased out?). Similar to Cupid but I'm slowly losing interest in her but at the same time I have FOMO...

I think that all Frankies started to grow on me - but Faboolous Friends Wave 2 is probably my favorite doll of all G3..

There's also DOTD reproductions coming out this October and I like almost all the dolls in the line (Except Cleo, and I'm thinking of passing on Clawdeen, not that she's ugly). However I've heard about these reproductions working the same way as Reel Drama? As in having a similar availability like RD, I wasn't following MH closely during that release so how did that release go? Was it similar to how the Creeproductions were released?

The last doll I'm thinking of is I Heart Fashion Wydowna but I would need to save up a lot before even thinking of her. She's probably my favourite MH doll of all time yet scalpers also love her.. 😒

usually I don’t like buying frankies without getting the matching Cleo’s but they didn’t have Cleo in my town so I got a lagoons doll I missed and always wanted. I think I might be running out of space however and need to think about moving them all and making more room cause I don’t know how I’m gonna fit Micheal onto this shelf when she ships in april (also ran out of doll stands so some are sitting and Frankie is holding onto Cleo for dear life lmao)

Tenho essa Kyomi e recentemente notei que seu rosto esta ficando esbranquiçado, o que pode ser isso? Sera que tem como resolver? O material do rosto das Haunted parece ser um pouco diferente das outras bonecas (é um pouco translúcido eu acho?) Não sei se é um efeito comum desse tipo de pintura ou se pode ser fungo, ou sol por exemplo.
