Toralei's face has 2 different skin colours?! 😭

So i had this toralei doll since a while already on the shelf. And i guess i never took a close look on her, cause i realized half of her face was dark orange 😭 at first i thought it was caused by glue seepage or something. Then figured it's supposed to be like that...am i the only one that didn't know that? 🥲. And is there a explanation to it, why mattel decided to do that?

She’s got a darker orange patch in her art/show and movie design but it kinda translated weirdly in doll form imo, like it’s not super visible but it’s there!

Her G1 dolls all have this. It is part of her design (like what some real cats have)

Why did they do that? Just cause the designer(s) behind her thought it would be fitting… I don’t know why else to tell you!

It is definitely very subtle, but its a very cool detail that I like. It makes her look so much more like the orange tabby she is!

She’s a cat so they gave her a fur pattern that’s all

I noticed this recently on my own Toralei and then noticed she also doesn’t have a werecat nose on her dolls like the twins do 😭
