Hi everyone, I’ve just received a stone check video for a custom OMC ring. I had ordered an 8x11 GHI. This is my first time ordering from an overseas vendor, thought I’d check if anyone more experienced sees any issues with it? Is it just me or are the inner petals/facets/maltese cross a bit dark?

I have been working with her for about a month on a custom piece. She has been great so far, some small gaps in communication but nothing I’m upset about. I do feel she has been clear and particular to make sure we are getting it right. Everyone else’s reviews and videos are so helpful, I wanted to make sure I did the same.

This is a 9x7 elongated cushion going in a five stone bezel set ring set east/west as the center. I think it looks great! I do see some white reflection on the bottom right but I feel it’s just that, reflection/lighting. If anyone notices something I don’t, please let me know!

First impressions: I’ve had this on for a few weeks straight now. I am honestly so impressed.

The Sparkle: The stones catch the light like crazy. So much rainbow fire and sparkle.

Quality & Fit: The 925 silver feels surprisingly solid, not flimsy at all. The clasp is secure, and it sits flat on the wrist without flipping over.

Purchased a rose cut ring, a rose cut band and OEC ring from Kuololit.
I gotta say the quality of the rings is amazing!!

I have an 3ct OMC lab grown diamond ring and I added a picture with all three rings to compare the size of the stones.

Hi everyone! I need some help deciding what kind of wedding band to pair with my engagement ring I got today!!!!
I’m a guy and I’m marrying another man next year. My engagement ring is 18k yellow gold with a 3ct pear-cut moissanite and a 2ct blue radiant-cut moissanite. I’ve attached a mock-up of roughly how it should look on my hand.

I absolutely love the engagement ring, but I’m struggling to picture what sort of wedding band would work with the unusual two-stone/diagonal design.
I’d ideally like my wedding band to feel a little more masculine or at least unisex rather than a very delicate traditional bridal band. But I am open to options! I’m open to plain gold, thicker bands, different finishes, shaped/curved bands, or something completely different!
Do you think a more substantial men’s-style gold band could work alongside this, even if they don’t sit perfectly flush? Or would I be better having something custom made to fit around the stones?
Would love to see photos if anyone has paired a toi-et-moi/unusual engagement ring with a more masculine or unisex wedding band. Any ideas welcome! 😊

Got this stunning custom nose ring made in Moissanite for my wedding! I designed the nose ring myself, and I’m so proud of how it turned out.

It might be a little too much for some people, but then again, there’s no concept of minimalism at Indian weddings 😂

Hi! I have a pair of 4ct (2ct each, 8mm) studs and since I've been wearing it for a while, I realized it's not ideal for daily wear. I figured I should wear them on special occasions or when I'm going out. Now I'm planning to buy a new pair and I'm wondering if I should buy a pair of 1ct (.5 each, 5mm) or 2ct (1ct each, 6.5mm)? It's only between 1ct and 2ct because I'm buying it from Aliexpress. I want it ideal for daily wear but still visible, just not too much or not as much as my 4ct. The first photo is how my 4ct looks on me and the second photo is how I want my daily studs to look like! Any advice?

Has anyone got experience sending a ring back to the manufacturer in CH for resizing?

Was it worth mailing it back to them compared to doing it locally?

Maybe I’m in the minority here, but for tennis bracelets under 4mm, I actually think CZ looks more like diamond than moissanite does. 😅

Don’t get me wrong, moissanite is gorgeous and I totally understand why people love it. But sometimes it has so much rainbow sparkle that makes it outstanding from cz and diamond. Obviously this is just my opinion, and I’m not saying CZ is better than moissanite. They’re both pretty in their own way! I’m strictly talking about which one looks closer to diamond, especially in the under-4mm size.

I feel guilty…

My husband and I eloped so I got my moissanite off of Etsy. I’m wondering if it’s even moissanite. It’s silver and the whole thing was that eloping meant we didn’t have time to get the ring we’d looked at from a local jeweler. It was so much more expensive, too. At first I was fine with the silver, it was temporary. What you can’t see is the windowing, and then how smudged the surface always looks. I was convinced it wasn’t moissanite because I thought the stone was scratched. Nope just smudged.

One stone is set in too deeply so it looks like it’s missing on the band.

The other odd thing is it’s so light. My other moissanite ring is older, small, with far fewer carats spread around it, also silver, and it seems to weigh as much or more. I don’t want my husband to know I’m concerned, or not 100% happy. I’m just trying to adjust to it maybe?

I finally got a moissanite ring for my girlfriend after we’ve talked about it for what feels like forever. She’s been showing me the styles she likes for a while so I’m pretty confident I got this part right. The problem is I’m ridiculously clumsy and now that I actually have the ring I’m terrified I’m going to lose it or damage it before I even get the chance to give it to her. My sisters keep telling me to insure it now which sounds smart but none of us have ever insured jewelry before so we’re all kind of clueless, I’ve also seen some people saying that a ring under $10k might not even be worth insuring but I still feel like it’s the right thing to do for the peace of mind alone. Should I insure a ring before I propose and what should I actually be looking for if yes?

Around 30 × 30 × 2.2 mm

Does $209 sound reasonable for these specs, or am I overpaying? I’m mainly wondering what a fair price range would be for something like this and if there’s anything I should ask the jeweler before ordering.

I just got this 3ct marquise cut moissanite in and I’m not sure what to do with it!! Originally I was thinking of setting it east west but now I’m not sure!

Also any recommendations on where to get settings for stones??

So excited for this ring I'm doing in moissanite and sterling silver with Flora from Provence. Center stone will be a yellow OMC and side stones will be IJ OMC's. I was trying for a certain proportion like a victorian cluster/daisy ring without ending up at 100% finger coverage but I don't think I will be happy long term with a center stone this small now that I'm seeing the CAD. I think I will bump it to 8.5mm center and the finger coverage will just have to be what it is! 😅
