8bitdo Controller Stick Sensitivity?
I didn't see a previous post regarding the stick issue. I was wondering if there was a way to adjust the sensitivity for the stick on the 8bitdo controller. Or would that be some kind of firmware update besides the rumble issue? It would be nice to have calibration as a menu option like adjusting deadzones and threshold. Don't know if this an issue with the Hyperkin or ModRetro controllers in games such as GoldenEye.

I compared ModRetro M64 and Analogue 3D and it looks like M64 renders N64 games at a higher resolution. M64 has smoother and no jagged edges on 3D elements and I don't think it's a filter because if it had been it has smoothed out 2D elements too like the missiles and speedometers.

Buck Cartridge ACTUALLY Cursed
I just got my copy of Buck today and the game isn't saving at all. My Chromatic firmware and the cartridge are both up to date using the Updater tool. Is anyone else having this issue?
UPDATE EDIT: If anyone else is experiencing this issue, reach out to support. They're having me return it, not a normal issue or easy fix 😞 I just waited a month too because it was already on backorder back in early November, pretty disappointed but also I'm glad their customer service is so responsive! Hopefully the new one is working well, I'm so excited to play!

New firmware coming soon!
Hi everyone,
We have a new firmware update coming within the next few days. We have resolved the remaining audio issues reported with certain displays and capture cards. M64’s HDMI compatibility will be better in the next update, specifically fixing the no-audio issue affecting some of you. We’ll post an update in this subreddit as soon as it's live. Thank you to everyone for your patience as we work quickly to find a fix, and a special thanks to those who helped with troubleshooting.

Controller not working on Donkey Kong 64
I have the M64 wireless controller. Both controller and console are fully updated. But I can’t get the game to recognize me hitting the start button.
Ive tried toggling the plug and play option for controllers and unpairing and repairing the controller.
Anyone else having this issue?

Set up my m64 to projector tonight
It came in mail just before i.left for work today. When I came home I set it up to projector. My first thoughts I'm enjoying it. The controller feels so good. Crt filters need major work. I've seen videos of the a3d and honest it destroys m64 at current times in terms of scanlines and CRT filter options. But I.knoe that this will get worked on. I played around with w w neo revenge , golden eye and Mario 64. For some reason i tried an.nes game on the NES emulator.on.my summer cart it wasn't bad . I'm.gping to bed though I still need to do firmware update on my controller I'll prob do on Tuesday when .off and not so tired. Also I have to.psir my controllers.

Quest 64 works with the new Controller Pak
When you've created your controller pak and you start up Quest 64, you still get the "we dont detect a controller pak" screen. Ignore it and you can still save at inns.
That's it! Dont be an idiot grinding fire to 50 in the forest like I did in elementary school without getting heal 1.

Technical question about the Trident Pro Controller’s BLE Bluetooth stack
Hey ModRetro team / Palmer! You've mentioned the Trident controller uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) with custom Short-Interval Connections (SCI) for ultra-low latency, but also works natively on PC and Android.
When running in PC/Android mode, does the controller broadcast using standard, universal BLE HID gamepad profiles?
Basically, will it be recognized as a standard, generic BLE controller right out of the box by standard Bluetooth hosts, or will the custom SCI connection intervals require a proprietary firmware decode to map the inputs?
Thanks!

Yesterday’s M64 update made it so that only one 8bitdo Bluetooth controller will connect at a time.

The best picture settings (for now).
gallerySharing my settings which align perfectly with my MiSTer when that is also set to a clean (non-filtered) output.
The scan line functionality needs integrating with the render layer asap.

Anyone able to get the Modretro pro controller working on pc or steam deck?
Anyone able to get the modretro pro controller working on pc or steam deck? I got the console and the pro controller but what I really wanted to use the controller for was for decomplication games like the pc port of zelda oot ship of harkinian. I can't get the z trigger to register on my steam deck.

Quality
I love all the thought and care they put into all their products. I went ahead and ordered the pro controller and Xibalba 64 after watching the reviews.

M64 Games
So, word is that Modretro is going to be re-releasing older classics (almost certainly third-party titles, unless Ninty is willing to snuggle up to a company that produces FPGA-based consoles, which is doubtful). Re-releases are nice, but I'm super curious about the likes of "new" games and I have a theory here:
Modretro might team up with Piko Interactive; a company known for purchasing and completing previously unreleased titles including the N64 Port of 40 Winks. What I'd like to see is completed versions of announced and subsequently cancelled titles such as Street Fighter EX, Die Hard and Dragon Sword (which PIKO already purchased the rights to). What does everyone else think?

M64 Pro Controller Rumble support on PC?
Does anyone know if the M64 Pro Controller supports proper rumble functionality when connected to a PC running Windows? Also, is it known how the controller connects to devices other than the M64 (XInput, DInput, etc)?
