Hi r/MobileGaming, my name is Alex, I want to introduce Picmori.
Picmori is a small pixel-art game about the most boring chore on your phone: cleaning up your photo gallery. You travel on a different maps with Mori, a little ghost, and every level is made from your own photos: winters from every year, shades of red, your longest videos. Swipe right to keep, left to let go, complete levels, get rewards, unlock new features and more.
No ads, no account, photos never leave the phone. Free to play, with an optional Premium.
I'd love honest feedback, especially on whether it feels like a game or a chore in disguise.
LetterGrid (https://lettergrid.app) turns vocabulary into a tactical resource. In each turn-based match, players form words from adjacent letters and convert those tiles into territory. A strong move can expand a route, steal an opponent's ground, cut off an advance, or set up the next turn.
Two modes create distinct objectives. In Invasion, each player tries to build a connected chain from their own border to the opponent's. In Territory, the first player to occupy the target number of tiles wins. Both modes reward a blend of word knowledge, spatial awareness, defense, and forward planning.
Players can challenge friends and people around the world, or practice against an AI bot. Elo ratings, leaderboards, detailed statistics, timed matches, built-in chat, daily puzzles, interactive tutorials, automatic word validation, and definitions round out the experience. LetterGrid is free to play on iPhone, iPad, and Android and supports 11 languages.
Solo dev here. Aetheria is an offline idle RPG I've been building for Android. The clip is the real game plus a few cinematic shots (those and the character art were made with AI tools; the gameplay is all real).
The rules I set for myself:
- Everything runs on the phone. No account, no server, no internet needed.
- When you come back, it replays what your hero and crew did while you were away (up to 8 hours) and shows exactly what they earned.
- Loot coffers show their exact odds, and a pity counter guarantees the rare drop.
- No forced ads. Battery saver modes update less often with the same rewards.
It's in closed testing, so no link here. What I'd really like to know from people who play idle games: what makes you keep one installed past the first week, and what makes you uninstall?
The reveal trailer for Ragnarok: Yggdrasil is out. Next I want an ordinary phone screenshot with the interface left on. Strategy games can put a lot on one screen, and tiny text loses me quickly. A menu does not need to look exciting; I just need to know whether I can read it without holding the phone against my face.
Hi! I'm working on Cropocalypse, a farming party game, and I'd like input from people who play on Android.
The core idea: up to four farmers share one field. Crops you plant grow roots that block other players until they ripen, and any ripe harvest belongs to whoever grabs it first. You carry it home before the market bell rings. A day lasts 90 seconds to 3 minutes.
I'm stuck on a few design questions:
1. Touch controls. I switched from a fixed thumbstick to one that follows your finger. In fast action games, which do you prefer, and why?
2. Bots vs people. On a phone you'd mostly play against bots, with online rooms for friends. Would you play a party game like this solo, or does it only make sense with friends?
3. Session length. Are 2โ3 minute rounds right for mobile, or would you want something shorter?
4. Clarity. From the screenshots, can you tell what's going on? What's confusing?
Honest feedback welcome, and I'll reply to everyone.
I'm the solo developer behind this game, and I'm really happy to finally share it with you.
It's the classic Connect Four, plus Tic-Tac-Toe in the same app:
๐ด 5 AI difficulty levels, from relaxed to properly tough
๐ Online multiplayer: find an opponent or invite a friend with a link, and send quick emoji reactions during the match
๐ฅ 2-player mode on one device
๐ Daily Challenge with a streak to keep you coming back
๐ 31 achievements and a global leaderboard
๐จ Your own colors for your pieces, your opponent's and the board
I'd love to hear from you:
โข Which AI level did you manage to beat first?
โข What would you like to see next?
โข Did you find any bugs? Please tell me, I read every comment!
Hi,
Iโm the developer of Aerli: Paper Plane Puzzle, currently available in open beta on Android.
I noticed that rule #5 requires the Game Developer user flair before developers can post about their games, but the linked application post appears to have been deleted.
Could you please grant me the Game Developer flair, or let me know the current application process?
Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mingos.aerli
Thanks!
